Welcome to the Mental Health Month at FOCUS!π
The Theme of this Campaign is:
πYou Are Not Aloneπ
βThe Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.β β Deuteronomy 31:8
This theme speaks directly to the silence and isolation that run through many of the issues students face. We are pointing you to Emmanuel, God with us, who reassures us of His presence.
So join us, in this journey as we learn, connect and draw comfort from Emmanuel.

Welcome to the Mental Health Month at FOCUS!π
Mental health has become a pressing issue in our world today. MH Statistics point to a growing crisis that cannot be ignored.
Even more concerning is the situation among our students in universities and colleges. Issues that affect students include family-related issues, financial challenges, the common term βkuinama,β meaning skipping a meal due to lack of money, reflects both the humor and the painful reality that many students experience daily on our campuses.
In addition, the increasing use of digital devices and social media has emerged as a significant contributor to mental health difficulties among young people.
And for all of us, economic issues, complex relationship and marriage issues, transitions and difficult seasons of life do take a toll on us from time to time, affecting our mental health.
With all these realities in mind, and in alignment with the emphasis on holistic care in our new strategic plan, there is a clear and urgent need to scale our efforts during this Mental Health Month campaign.
This campaign is therefore not just a response, but a commitment under KRA: Wellness and Care, under SPA Mentorship and Care, which aims to nurture and support the whole person (YOU) practically through holistic, intergenerational mentorship and care.
This Mental Health Campaign 2026 we will focus on:
β Mental Health Awareness
β Holistic Formation and Practical Solutions
β Build Community and Resource Center
