WHY I INVITE PEOPLE TO MY LOCAL CHURCH- GRACE POWER CHURCH

1) It's a fellowship of believers in Christ alone
2) It's a place where the Gospel, that is, all that Christ has done, His person and current ministry for the Saints is upheld.
3) The training for ministry, with emphasis on evangelism and teaching is given topmost priority.
4) Prayer has no department as every believer is made to acknowledge, receive and minister prayer as a responsibility. It is a house of prayer.
5) Reaching the unsaved is a regular work we undertake, it's a norm and the norm.
6) Everyone is a volunteer. Whilst acknowledging the biblical right of due wages and support for clergy, We choose to waive this for All, including pastors.
7) Our work is daily, hence despite our professional discipline and career, we prioritize the work of and for souls.
8) Needs are met as we give full expression for and to demonstrations of the Spirit.
We make bold to say, all gifts of the Spirit are in full demonstration in our midst.
This is why I invite you if you are in search of a New Testament patterned local assembly in Eldoret City.

Great thoughts:

There are men of God whose preaching I enjoy, but whose ministry I do not follow. And there are men of God whom I love and follow. It is not just about their preaching. Instructors are not necessarily fathers. Restaurant food is from time to time. Home food is everyday.

You may not like this, but in the older generation it is easy to find Christians who have been in the same church for 25 years, whereas in my generation, in 4 years we have had 5 different churches. It is the same reason marriages are more solid and last longer then than now. We confuse disorder with liberty. We are too distracted, to be rooted.

If Jesus met a typical believer in my generation, He would say - Go call your pastor. We would reply - I have no pastor. And Jesus would say - It is true. You have had 50 pastors, and the one you are listening to now, is not really your pastor.

WEEKLY DIARY OF AN ONLINE WORD MAN..
SUNDAY - Glory Church (Sunday services)
MONDAY - WhatsApp group of Pastor Otieno (he's not my pastor, but very sound teacher)
TUESDAY - Telegram group of Pastor Njoroge (he's very balanced)
WEDNESDAY - back to Glory Church for midweek service
THURSDAY - Online Prayer Channel with Revd Mwangi (profound Christocentric Prophet)
FRIDAY - open Bible study group with friends, no real leaders but wow, it's a huge blessing.
SATURDAY - Holy Ghost meeting with Rafiki Ministries (not a church but very sound)..

I also daily tune to three Facebook live teachings of "Revd Kamau - 8am, Revd Power of Faith - 2pm, Pastor Wanjala - 9pm"

He belongs to NO local church.
He thinks he's growing spiritually yet ONLY FEEDING HIS CURIOSITY.
HAS NO 100% COMMITMENT ANYWHERE.

He will start throwing tantrums as soon as subjects like
Loyalty and honor and submission are taught.
He will scream... It's all control..
Don't you think he needs control. 😂

Which local church can EVER grow and fulfill God's mandate with such a fellow?
Maybe WhatsApp groups or online Teaching groups.
Definitely, no local assembly.

FIND A CHURCH and STOP JOINING GROUPS ALL OVER THE WORLD.
SIT THERE
LEARN
SUBMIT
GROW.

Just before you sleep ,read this,

When you are offended you won't see what God is doing .
Ask John the Baptist.
Many believers have ruined supernatural relationships because they got offended.

Some are offended over nothing ,I mean absolutely nothing
Others are offended because someone or some people are being “over quoted “” over mentioned “,”over respected “ etc
Others are offended because no one is taking them seriously

Offenses are deadly

There are things God has given you to fulfill His plans ,and you would find such ONLY in the relationships he leads you to.
Personally I treasure relationships.
I am a product of positive influence .

Refuse offenses ,walk in Love,Honor those God placed in your life .

Just before you sleep tonight, maybe, like me, from time to time, you need a reminder to pick up your Bible and really read it! Here is that reminder: no matter how long you have been a Christian, only reading the Bible will help you continue to grow in God.

The best way to get closer to God, whether you have been a Christian for many years or still have many questions, is to read the Bible. The Bible is the very words of God, and it contains everything you need to know about Him and how He wants you to live.

The Bible does not read like a modern novel. It is an ancient book, written during periods when those who could read would do so for hours, and even many who could not read memorized large portions they had heard recited. Television and the Internet were not around to impair their ability to concentrate.
