Chevalier Youth Blackburn YA Heart Spirituality formation. Home base: St Thomas the Apostle Parish, Blackburn VIC We are proudly LGBTQ+ friendly.

Inspired by the charism of the Jules Chevalier & the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, CHEVALIER YOUTH is made up of youth and young adults in the parish community of St Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Blackburn. Seeking to walk together in faith with the youth and young adults in our community, we are an inclusive group of individuals, committed to "being on Earth, the Heart of God." We since

rely acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country on which we gather, and pay our respects to Indigenous peoples everywhere.

Thanks to Br Daniel msc who organised and led the young ones of St Thomas the Apostle Parish at the Tenebrae service.

Everyone did really well... Despite the smaller numbers, it's still nice to see this beautiful tradition be carried on by the youth. It's such a privilege to start Holy Week with this reflective service.

Maybe one day we can find a way to livecast it further.
