The Sermon of the day by Pastor JANETH KURGAT,....Exodus 15
22 : Then Moses led Israel from the Red Sea and they went into the Desert of Shur. For three days they travelled in the desert without finding water.

23 : When they came to Marah, they could not drink its water because it was bitter. (That is why the place is called Marah.)

24 : So the people grumbled against Moses, saying, "What are we to drink?"

25 : Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them.

26 : He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you."

13 : I know where you live--where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city--where Satan lives.

14 : Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: You have people there who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing sexual immorality.

15 : Likewise you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.

16 : Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

17 : He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

4 : Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love.

5 : Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place.

6 : But you have this in your favour: You hate the practices of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
