ANNOUNCE THE GOOD NEWS

Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God, (Which he had promised afore by his prophets in the holy scriptures,) Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead (Romans 1:1-4).

The Bible says Jesus was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. He’s alive forevermore! Something else so beautiful to notice is the actual meaning of the phrase “Son Of God”; it means God in human flesh. And that’s why the Jews crucified Jesus because, by their law, Jesus made Himself equal with God when He said He was the Son of God.

But He is Himself God; that’s what the Bible shows. Titus 2:13-14 calls Him “the Great God:” “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” This is the Jesus that I tell you about.

In Acts 1, after His resurrection, as He spoke with His disciples and answered their questions, the Bible says, “…while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight”*_ (Acts 1:9). They saw Him go up to heaven; He didn’t suddenly vanish; He levitated before their eyes. Hallelujah! The Bible says they “...looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up…” (Acts 1:10).

That was the most glorious thing to ever happen in this world: Jesus, not only did He rise from the dead, but also physically levitated—and they watched Him as He went up into heaven. Blessed be God! The Bible says two men appeared in white apparel and said to the disciples: _*“Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven”*_ (Acts 1:11). This is the same announcement we must make to the whole world today.

Tell everyone throughout this world that Jesus was raised from the dead and that He ascended to heaven. He’s coming back again! It’s your job to announce this good news everywhere. Let those around you know that Jesus is coming back again, and it’s sooner than they imagine.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

Romans 1:16-17 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

You're Divine and Righteous

When you heard the Gospel, and opened your heart to the Word, the life of God was imparted to your spirit and you were born again.
Just because you're encased in an ordinary human body doesn't mean that you're ordinary.
2 peter 1:4 describes you as a partaker of the divine nature; you're in God's class of being, the divine class.
You're not a mere mortal; you're actually a god in the earth. Think about it; animals give birth to animals and humans give birth to humans, God therefore, would most certainly give birth to gods.

Get to know who you are; be bold in your life. You're a child of God; a joint-heir with Christ; the world belongs to you. Refuse to live an ordinary life or as an ordinary person.

Be strong and of a good courage; it doesn't matter how seemingly powerful you think your adversaries are.
Discouragement isn't for Christians!
We're required to be strong and very courageous--always--not sometimes; how could you be discouraged when you're one with the Lord? He's your strength and your joy! He's your song, your victory and your salvation.
Never wear a sad face, berating yourself for what you might have done wrong or crying over what others might have said or done against you; no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper, we are on a perpetual victory parade everyday.

PART 1

A lot of people wonder why their prayers are not being answered and things aren’t working right for them. Well, that’s why prayer is such an important subject and we must know the right way to do it.

The first thought that must be established in your mind in order for you to be able to pray effectively is this: God wants to hear and answer your prayers. If He had planned it any other way, He would never have required you to pray. That’s why

He said, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

🌹💎What You Need to Know About Prayer: Part 1💎🌹

2022 is an incredibly special year, and that means the “Titbits” in the editions of the devotional this year are special too! This month, we will be learning about Prayer; what it means, its importance, its impact and how to pray effectively. So, get ready to learn something new and inspiring.

1. God Loves To Hear Your Prayers: God asked us to pray because He loves to hear and answer our prayers. Isn’t it great? He said, “He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him…” (Psalm 91:15). That’s the joy of prayer.

2. God is Your Father: God wants to have a Father-child relationship with you. But you must be born again to have such relationship. How? By receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9-10).

3. What Is Prayer? Prayer isn’t just getting God to do things for you; rather, it is fellowship with the Lord. Fellowship is a friendly relationship among people. You develop a special relationship with the Lord in prayer. That means you’re not the only one talking; He also talks to you, and you listen to Him.

4. Don’t Recite; Pray From Your Heart: To recite prayers is to say prayers you have memorized, either from a book or a person. To have a rich fellowship with the Lord, you’ve got to pray from your heart. To pray from your heart means you’re focused, and not distracted; thinking about ice cream, TV, video games or looking around. If you keep your eyes closed, you’ll hear God easily, and receive answers too.

5. Prayers Produce Results: The Bible says that divine power is released whenever we pray from the heart (James 5:16). That power brings to pass whatever you’ve asked for; this prayer produces results. This makes times of prayer joyful and exciting (John 16:24).

I always receive answers when I pray. This is why I’m very successful in anything I do. You can have this experience too if you take to heart what you’ve learnt in this study.

In your maths class, the teacher would give you certain formulas to solve questions. As long as you use that formula, you’ll always get the right answer. In the same way, God has given us a formula to make changes. It’s what the Lord Jesus said in today’s memory verse!

What would you like to change in your life, health, school, neighbourhood, family or even country? You can change it through this special kind of prayer.

You can get another believer right now and agree with them for a change in any area of your life and it’ll be done. Hallelujah!
