In company of my friend brother and boss Hon Aharub Khatri alias ARORO1,we joined the Muslim Women Group hosted by the Hon Zamzam Chimba Mohammad in an Empowerment meeting held at the Serani Grounds hall.

As a leadership we are committed into empowering women and realising the value of wen leadership in our County.

CHAANI IS MOURNING
It is a very sad morning,a very sad and black Monday for us as a family,friends and a ward.

Mzee Ezekiel was very instrumental in our journey of liberation.

From being our campaign Chairman,to a great mobilizer of our time.

He has fought a fierce battle but finally death won.

We have lost a unifying leader,wise and patient with everyone.

A friend to many and a source of inspiration as he famously would say "Kazi Kwanza mengine baadaye".

Rest in peace mzee Ezekiel and am forever grateful for the sacrifices you made to both my life and the people of Chaani Ward.

Pumzika Kwa Amani Babaaaa, Chairman Wangu.A hero has rested.

Chaani Tusome-EducationMatters.

I take this moment to thank His excellency Governor ASN,Mombasa County for heeding to the Clarion call from the Leadership of Mombasa County,our beloved speaker Hon Aharub Khatri who has been instrumental in offering leadership on matters of public interest and further to thank the Members of the Mombasa County Assembly (MCAs) for the approval made on the Elimu Fund that saw an increment in budgetary allocation meant for bursaries and scholarships to the tune of 600 Million.

Hon Mombasa Residents you elected us to represent you and voice your needs,we are actually doing that.

As a result ALL DAY SCHOOL students in Mombasa County whom their parents or guardians are Registered,verified and certified Voters in Mombasa shall henceforth benefit from the scheme by getting 5000/= each ensuring the students remain in school under the Governor's bursary programme at a Cumulative sum of 200 Million.

Boarding students shall as well benefit noting ,the figure for boarding schools now moves from 1Million(Previously 100 beneficiaries) to 2M(200 beneficiaries) with an extra 600,000/- going to Day school students outside Mombasa County in every Ward.

As a Ward am convinced that the great people of Chaani will seize the opportunity and change their mindset to embrace hardwork aiming for excellence in academics

God is our creator and deserves the worship.

Our mosque Masjid Fathi,Chaani will get a facelift soon courtesy of my leadership.

I have since visited the premises and soon our Muslim brothers will have a comfortable place of worship.
