✝️ BIBLE DEVOTIONS:
ISAIAH 54:1-2

Isaiah 54:2 Do not hold back:

The third instruction from God is clear: do not hold back. Did you hold back in 2025 - where, and why?

Let’s pray and repent for anything that has delayed the blessings of God in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

The core values of GLC are verbs, which means they are doing and being words - they are: Love and Serve (to love and serve God by loving and serving people).

As you seek God, reflect honestly:
- What am I holding back out of fear instead of faith?
- Where has comfort quietly replaced calling and obedience
- What obedience have I delayed because the cost feels too high?
- Let’s pray that we would be less selfish, and more selfless in 2026.

And just four chapters later, Isaiah declares with fire: “Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet.” (Isaiah 58:1).

C'mon, let's goo. AMEN!

Swahili Translation:
Isaya 54:2 - “Usijizuie.”

Maelekezo ya tatu kutoka kwa Mungu yako wazi: usijizuie. Je, ulijizuia mwaka 2025—wapi, na kwa nini?

Tuombe na kutubu kwa chochote kilichochelewesha baraka za Mungu katika maisha yetu na katika maisha ya wale wanaotuzunguka.

Maadili ya msingi ya GLC ni vitenzi, yakimaanisha maneno ya kutenda na kuwa—nayo ni: Kupenda na Kutumikia (kumpenda na kumtumikia Mungu kwa kuwapenda na kuwahudumia watu).

Unapomtafuta Mungu, tafakari kwa uaminifu:

Ni nini ninachojizuia kwa hofu badala ya imani?

Ni wapi faraja imechukua nafasi ya wito na utii kwa Mungu kimyakimya?

Ni utii upi nimeuchelewesha kwa sababu gharama inaonekana kubwa sana?

Tuombe ili mwaka 2026 tuwe wachache wa ubinafsi, na wenye kujitoa zaidi.

Na sura nne tu baadaye, Isaya anatangaza kwa nguvu: “Piga kelele kwa sauti kuu, usijizuie; inua sauti yako k**a tarumbeta.” (Isaya 58:1).
