What a blessing it was to gather for our CITAM Bungoma Fellowship Sunday Service! We enjoyed a balanced spiritual diet of fellowship, worship, prayer, and the nourishment of God's Word. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

Through the sermon “The Martha Syndrome: Very Busy for God, But Not Busy With God” from Luke 10:41–42, we were challenged to examine our walk with God.

Martha was busy serving Jesus, yet her busyness became a distraction from Jesus Himself. The lesson was clear: activity for God should never replace intimacy with God. We can become so occupied with ministry, responsibilities, and the many demands of life that we forget the most important thing—sitting at the feet of Jesus and listening to Him.

Jesus' loving invitation remains relevant today: “Few things are needed—or indeed only one.”

As we step into a new week, may we slow down amid the busyness, surrender our worries, and intentionally draw closer to God. Let us not merely be busy for God; let us also make time to be with God.

Come closer. Sit down. Listen. Worship. Pray. Sit at Jesus' feet. ❤️🙏🏽

🌟 CITAM BUNGOMA FELLOWSHIP DVBS WEEK 2026 — GRAND CRESCENDO! 🌟

What a beautiful way to bring the CITAM Bungoma Fellowship DVBS Week 2026 to a glorious close! Our children ministered to us so beautifully today, reminding us of the powerful words of Scripture:

«“From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise.”
— Matthew 21:16 (NIV)»

Our Sunday Service was a wonderful time of fellowship, worship, prayer and the ministry of God's Word. 🙏🏽❤️

Ericka Amanda beautifully shared God's Word, unveiling the DVBS Summary Snippets from each day under the overarching theme:

“Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord?” — Genesis 18:14

📖 Day 1 — God the Creator | Genesis 1
God created everything and entrusted us with the responsibility of caring for His creation. We are stewards of what He has made.

📖 Day 2 — God the Provider | Genesis 22:8
“God will provide.” Abraham's unwavering faith was put to the test, and God miraculously provided a ram for the sacrifice in place of his son. What an example of immovable faith!

📖 Day 3 — God the Protector | Daniel 6:18–22
God protected Daniel in the lions' den because of his faithfulness. He also delivered Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego from the fiery furnace.
Do not be afraid to stand for what is right! God is able to protect those who trust in Him.

📖 Day 4 — God Our Restorer | Job 42:10
Job displayed unshakable faith. Despite losing everything, he continued to fear God and shun evil. In due time, God restored Job and blessed him with a double portion.

📖 Day 5 — Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord? | Genesis 18:14
The week was crowned with this powerful rhetorical question:
Is anything too hard for the Lord?

Certainly NOT! 🙌🏽

The seeds planted in our children throughout this incredible week became so evident today. 🌱❤️ What a joy to see them confidently minister, share what they learned and proclaim God's faithfulness.

May these seeds continue to be deeply rooted, germinate and produce beautiful fruit—not only in the lives of our children, but in all of us. May what God began during DVBS continue to grow in our homes, our church and our community, long beyond this Sunday.

DVBS 2026 Grand Finale — All Glory to God!

The grand finale of our DVBS 2026 has come to a blessed end! 🎉🙌

What an amazing and memorable inaugural CITAM Bungoma Fellowship DVBS 2026, held at Roche Royal Academy from 17th–21st August 2026.

We give special appreciation to:

🙏 The parents and guardians who graciously released their children to be part of this wonderful experience.

👏 Our committed and “Ambidextrous” DVBS workers, whose dedication, sacrifice and service made the week a great success.

🏥 Wema Care Hospital, for providing first-aid services and ensuring the wellbeing of our children.

🏫 The Roche Royal family and proprietors, for warmly welcoming us and providing a conducive environment for the DVBS.

❤️ Our mother church, CITAM Kakamega, under the leadership of our Senior Pastor, Rev. Elphas Bwire, for the unwavering support, guidance and encouragement throughout the programme.

Above all, all glory and honour go to God, who orchestrated every detail, opened doors and made this event a success, a testimony and a beautiful affirmation of His unconditional love for His children.

The seeds have been planted. The children have been inspired. The Gospel has been shared. And we trust God for the fruit in the days and years to come. 🌱❤️
