YHWH

YHWH YHWH is the full spectrum of existence. In the beginning GOD created the universe and all that is within.

In that very beginning HE created man in his own Image and likeness. From that very beginning GOD was Spirit, and is Spirit, and will forever be Spirit. That Spirit is what accomplished the work of creation and is still at work in the world today. This page strives to give insight into scripture and apply the same in today's living.

Worry is the opposite of faith. It is the worship of the forces of nature, the power of illness, the dynamics of the market, the belief that these and mortal beings are the masters of your life.

Faith is the inner knowledge that there is really nothing else but His abundant love. It is the conviction that you have only one Master, and His love to you knows no bounds.

And that if you cannot see this love, it is because it is such awesome love, it flows to you in ways far beyond your comprehension.

If so, when His caress seems harsh, embrace it with joy. When His kisses pour down in a torrent beyond your capacity to endure, open wide.

Perhaps He is carrying you higher, closer, far beyond your tiny cell into a vast palace of blinding light. Because He desires your closeness.

Perhaps He is cleansing your body and soul, your universe and all it contains, finely tuning them to resonate with His infinite presence.

Open your heart, your mind, your soul, and all entry to His Infinite Light.

The relentless forces of nature, the pain of the body, the vicissitudes of the market, the angry power of human beings—your eyes will open and they will dissipate into oblivion. For they are nothing more than channels of endless love from an infinite G‑d.

This is happiness: Life with Him alone.

ROSH KODESH ADAR

**Parashat Terumah: The Gold No One Sees**

We tend to think that modesty means simplicity. By that logic, the Tabernacle and its vessels should have been plain — made of wood alone, without splendor. But Parashat Terumah presents something entirely different: the Tabernacle is modest in its dimensions — an ark about two and a half feet wide, a Tabernacle of only 15×5 meters — yet it is made of pure gold, silver, purple, and blue wool. Modesty, it turns out, does not mean cheap; it means precise.

And the Ark in particular. The Torah emphasizes: "You shall overlay it with pure gold, inside and out shall you overlay it" — gold on the inside too, on the part no one will ever see. Why? On this the Talmud says (Yoma 72b): "A Torah scholar whose inside does not match his outside — is no Torah scholar." Specifically in the Ark, the vessel of Torah, the coating is doubled. It is not enough to look like a Torah scholar; one must be one. Inside and outside — the same.

Here lies the core principle: the Torah distinguishes between two dimensions. Size is performance, grandstanding, an attempt to impress. Quality is dedication, recognizing value, genuine meaning. The temples of Babylon and Egypt were enormous — but built on the blood of slaves and forced labor. The Tabernacle was small, yet every ounce of gold in it was given "from every person whose heart moves them" — willingly, out of love, from what truly matters. Not quantity but depth. Not appearance but substance. And above all — what is present even in the place no one sees.

In a generation of Instagram and TikTok, where outward appearance can become everything, the Torah says loudly and clearly: the real gold is what remains when the camera is off. How you behave at home versus on Facebook. How you speak to the cleaner versus the boss. What you do on Shabbat when there are no guests. The person whose inside matches their outside does not ask "who is watching?" but "what is right?"

To become one with another person, you must first recognize that you are but a broken half. Only then can you give all of yourself and become whole.

To become one with the Infinite Light, you must know you are but a broken half, the Infinite Light is your other half, and only then can you give all of yourself and become whole.

Man goes through many reincarnations. Each time, his soul is dressed in an additional desire to receive. This process is called “dressed in a body.” The soul repeatedly undergoes these states, known as “reincarnations,” thereby increasing its desire to receive in various forms through garments of power, wealth, honor, and knowledge. These garments are unnecessary for the soul. They are but desires for enjoyment. The question is, what is the source of this enjoyment?

Since the soul is dressed in a body, it seems to perceive that the light comes from these different garments: power, control, money, honor, and knowledge. The light takes on a particular form and reaches the soul, dressed in a specific desire. The soul, now dressed in material desires, encounters the light, also dressed in physical forms within these garments. In other words, we find ourselves in “this world.”

If both the soul and the light are dressed in physical garments, it is called “materialism.” If we remove our desires from all garments—from desires for enjoyment that are coverings such as honor, wealth, knowledge, s*x, and so on—and even strip the pleasure itself of its covering, it is called “spirituality.”

The soul’s readiness without a body or shell to be exposed to pleasure requires progression and growth within the four levels: inanimate, vegetative, animate, and speaking of this world.

This includes experiencing all bodily desires and pleasures: raising a family, eating, resting, and especially the desire for s*x. Afterward, it must advance through all social pleasures: wealth, honor, control, and knowledge.

May it be God’s will, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah, that the light of this Hanukkah enters your life, the lives of your family, and your loved ones, illuminating every path with miraculous blessings and endless light.

May this light banish all darkness, bringing complete health and healing to all who need it, a light that opens the gates of heaven and fills your heart and the hearts of those dear to you with joy, peace, and abundant success. Let this Hanukkah remind us all of the miracles that have been and those yet to come, and may its light accompany you in ways beyond the natural, just as the miracles of Hanukkah did then and continue to do today.

May this be a time of new beginnings, where every tear turns into joy, and every challenge becomes an opportunity for blessing. May every prayer from your heart be answered for good, and may every dream and goal for you and your loved ones come true, surrounded by radiant and eternal light.

May you witness revealed miracles like in the days of the Maccabees, and may the light of Hanukkah always accompany you, with faith, hope, and boundless love.

Wishing you a bright, joyful, and blessed Hanukkah, and a peaceful and blessed Shabbat Shalom. 🙏🏻❤️

✍️ Does the Ribono Shel Olam face any challenges? No — He is perfect and all-powerful.

The Ribono Shel Olam created the universe with the goal of giving us Olam Ha'Ba, eternal bliss. But He made a decision that this reward must be earned through free will and just actions — the system known as middat ha’din. This is a structure of cause and effect, enforced by the Satan as prosecutor. Every Jew, and even non-Jews, must earn Olam Ha'Ba through mitzvot and struggle — no exceptions.

Here lies the “challenge”: G-d wants us to succeed, but He will not interfere with our free will. So, what happens when the Jewish people sin and no longer deserve Olam Ha'Ba? Middat ha’din demands their rejection — and the Satan brings this charge constantly. How can the Ribono Shel Olam save the Jews without violating His own system of justice?

The solution lies in the "Akeidat Yitzchak." The true test wasn’t about killing Yitzchak. It was about Avraham facing an irrational contradiction. The Ribono Shel Olam promised that Yitzchak would father the Jewish people yet commanded him to sacrifice Yitzchak. This was not a hidden contradiction, it was logically impossible. Still, Avraham obeyed.

That’s the secret: "irrational loyalty."

Because Avraham remained loyal even when G-d seemed irrational, He created a legal argument to counter the Satan’s accusations. That if Avraham was loyal to G-d beyond reason, He too will be loyal to his children beyond reason — even when they don’t deserve it. This is why the merit of the Akeidah is incredible. It answers the Satan at the end of time.

Today, we are reliving the Akeidah. We see irrational suffering, a world gone mad, and a G-d whose actions we often don’t understand. Still, we hold on. Our loyalty — despite confusion, pain, and silence — is our Akeidah.

Even if you’ve sinned. Even if you’re confused. Hold on to the Ribono Shel Olam. That’s all He asks. And that’s what will bring the Geulah.

Love can not be taught. All we can hope for is that maybe we can unlearn all the hatred. Because hatred is taught. Love is from Heaven."

You are not here to find love, nor to be greeted by happiness at every turn, nor to be showered with kindness, nor to be celebrated by all, to forever remain a child.
No. You came here to create love out of war.
Your soul willingly left its blissful place beyond all troubles to descend into a stifling frame of bone, blood and flesh. Why? Because only here can inner strength be forged by pain, can wisdom be nurtured by failure, can love be the reward of those who choose to give love. Your soul came here to struggle with the bitter things of life and squeeze out of them a syrup of sweet, inner joy.
And as there is no sweetness as succulent as bittersweet, so there is no river of love that runs as deep as the love forged through a battle of the heart, no strength as powerful as that wrestled from the hands of an enemy through stubborn, defiant resolve, no wisdom as the wisdom gained by stumbling in darkness, standing up again, stumbling and walking again, and again.
All that is good, all that has meaning, all is up to you alone."

Beshalach – Jews Leaving Egypt As Soul Leaving the Body

An excellent way to understand the [story of Exodus](http://bible.ort.org/books/pentd2.asp?ACTION=displaypage&BOOK=2&CHAPTER=13) is to see in it a lesson about the soul leaving the body. "When Pharaoh sent the people away" is setting the stage; it means "When the soul (the people) is leaving the body." Egypt – Mitzraim – means "boundaries," and Pharaoh – Oreph (neck) – represents the body that is stubborn and stiff-necked. At this time, the Evil forces (the people's tormentors) pursue the soul (which is spiritual and thus never gets sullied) and want to harm it. These are the same materialistic evil inclinations that seduce the soul; they are the ones that cause its demise, and they are the ones that accuse it later on.

And God strengthened the heart of Pharaoh, and he pursued the people and overcame them, encamped at the sea, "chonim al ha yam" - means Gehinnom, and that is the "sea," or the stream, by the name of Dinor. When the Pharaoh approached them, they "were terrified of suffering and cried out to God." They asked Moses, "Why did you have to take us out of Egypt? Weren't there enough graves there?" This means, "We don't want to die. We had enough trouble in this earthly existence, and now we are subjected to the cleansing in the grave! We were better off within our known troubles during a lifetime than flying to others that we know not of."

On the contrary, the righteous always desire to die (that is, in this world and live in the next one, the world of Truth). With this, one can understand the three days of darkness, which correspond to the travel from "Migdol" to "Pi Chirot" - from "Tower" to "Freedom."

Moses, who represents man's good potential, told them, "Do not be afraid (of the punishment) because it is for your own good." Moses continued, "You will not see your tormentors ever again" – they will stay in the sea – the stream of Dinor. After being cleansed in Gehinnom, you will be rid of evil.

According to Talmudic tradition, the word totafoth alludes to the four boxes in the head Tefillin, since tot in a Caspian dialect is two and foth or poth is two in African or Phrygian (see note on Genesis 10:2; Menachoth 34b). The word tot appears to be cognate to 'two,' and possibly also to the Lat...

“Anyone who has had a truly “spiritual” moment, a moment of breaking through our day-to-day reality and touching the divine, knows how difficult it is to communicate that experience to others— or even to recapture it later for ourselves."
