*SCRIPTURE READING: PSALMS 26:6-8.*
“I come to your altar, O LORD, singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your wonders. I love your sanctuary, LORD, the place where your glorious presence dwells.”

✅David knew what it was to worship God,Even as royalty, as busy as he was, as complicated as his life was, he did not forget to spend personal time with God.

✅He remembered what it was to be a shepherd out in the fields worshipping God with songs and praise.

✅Years later David would write today’s passage sharing about the same worship.

✅He writes, “I come to your altar, O LORD, singing a song of thanksgiving and telling of all your wonders.

✅l love your sanctuary, LORD, the place where your glorious presence dwells.”

✅It is easy to get in a rut learning all about God but never spending time knowing Him.

✅It is great to love Bible study,who doesn’t love an inspiring sermon. It challenges us to live for God.

✅But in all the learning, in all the doing, we also need to love Him. We need to love spending time worshipping and praising Him.

✅Today, spend time in His presence.Come to His altar and spend time in praise and communion with Him.

*CONFESSION*
I will spend time worshipping God in His presence forever.

*PRAYER*
Father, I love Your word. I love serving You. But in all my haste, I must confess, I often forget to love You. I haven’t spent the time in Your presence. I haven’t taken enough time to worship You. Forgive me Lord. Today may I begin to worship You and love spending time in Your presence.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

✅What you seek first determines whether you will live in abundance or lack.

✅ The Christian life is totally dependent on the life of Christ Jesus; without Him, we wouldn’t know the true God and how to worship, serve, and please Him.

✅Jesus Christ is the door to the heart of the Father, No wonder He said no one can access the Father except through Him *(John 14:6).*

✅ If Jesus Christ said the secret to living in abundance is seeking *FIRST* the kingdom of God and His righteousness, believe it and do as He has said; doing it any other way only leads to unnecessary struggles.

✅ Jesus Christ is the key to the kingdom of God and the righteousness of God .

✅ When you have Him in your life by believing and accepting Him as Lord and personal Savior over your life, then He gives you His Spirit to access all things that pertain to life and godliness

✅Therefore, let the knowledge of Christ Jesus dwell in you richly in all wisdom and you will never miss the leading of the Holy Spirit in you and all the blessings and inheritances He has for you. Hallelujah! God bless you!

✅Strength to overcome overwhelming circumstances,Strength when all else has failed,Strength to be patient and wait on the Lord.

✅Strength to tear down strongholds,Strength to get through another day.

✅Strength to outlast a temptation,Strength to give it another try.

✅Strength to accept your weakness,Strength to trust in God.

*SCRIPTURE READING: EPHESIANS 6:10.*
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.”

✅We need strength. Suffering with chronic pain. Struggling to pay the bills.

✅Feeling discouraged about your job.Sickness,Rocking from a ruined relationship.

✅All of us have a story. None of us goes unscathed.

✅But we do not have to bear our sorrows alone and afraid.

✅We don’t have to be helpless victims. Instead Paul ends Ephesians with this word, “Finally, be strong.” Be strong.

✅The presence of a resilient attitude, a hopeful spirit, a resolve to never give up, to fight, to hang on.

✅How can we get the strength we need? Listen to how Paul finishes his verse. “Be strong in the LORD and in His mighty strength.”

✅What a difference a few words can make. We can be strong in His strength. It is mighty strength. It is loving strength. It is your strength.

✅Like a child is carried in the strength of his father’s arms, so let God carry your burden today.

✅Today be strong, but not in yourself. Be strong in the Lord and His mighty power!

Father, you told me to be strong. You know I need to. But I confess Lord, I have tried to be strong in my own power not yours. I need your power. I need you. Please take my burdens. Help me today to be strong in You and Your mighty power.

THEME: SERVE GOD.
SCRIPTURE READING:1CHRONICLES 28;9
“Acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the LORD searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts.”

✅It is easy to say that we are a Christian. There isn’t much of a demand being placed on that confession.

✅As far as the world knows, saying that you are a Christian doesn’t mean much.

✅Statistically the lives of Christians doesn’t differ that much from their secular counterpart.

✅But that is not the way God intended it to be. He doesn’t want lip service, He wants our lives.

✅We have been called to follow Christ in the way we think, feel and behave.

✅David knew the seriousness of following God. When he commissioned his son, Solomon, to build the Temple, he challenged Solomon to live Godly.

✅He told him to acknowledge God as the Lord of everything and serve Him with both wholehearted devotion and a willing mind.

✅God doesn’t want pretense, He wants sincerity and authenticity,that is why He searches our heart and motives.

✅Today, dedicate your life for His service. Decide to serve Him wholeheartedly.

*JOSHUA 24:15*
But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD."

Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory.

🕳️The life God has created for us is unique; when you understand the principles of life, life becomes easy to live.

🕳️There are days of suffering and days of glory; days of bitterness and days of sweetness. Jesus Christ had His days of suffering and days of glory.

🕳️When Jesus Christ was on earth, He enjoyed days of sweetness where He was not tortured or spat on. He went about His ministry in peace, though sometimes there was opposition.
*(Acts 10:38).*

🕳️There came His period of suffering, when He was beaten, flogged, and crucified for sins He did not commit.
*(Matthew 27:26–50).*

🕳️This was a seed He sowed for humanity, and God promoted Him and raised His name above every name in heaven, on earth, and under the earth.
*(Philippians 2:9–11).*

🕳️Jesus is still enjoying His glory days. You might be suffering for Christ; perhaps you are being persecuted for His name’s sake. Don’t get disheartened. Encourage yourself in the Word of God because your glory days are ahead of you.
*(2 Timothy 2:12).*

🕳️Your glory days will come for you to forget your days of suffering and bitterness.

“How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me!”

✅What a mood David was in! Could he get any more excited about God?

✅He got it! He really understood how much God cared for him and it made him ecstatic.

✅You can hear the enthusiasm in his words. He is full of appreciation and amazement.

✅What was it that made him so excited? What overwhelmed him with praise?

✅It was the fact that the almighty God of the universe was aware of him. More than aware, God was constantly thinking about him.

✅More than just thinking, David said that God’s thoughts about him were precious!

✅Have you come to that same awareness David had? Have you stopped to consider how much God thinks about you?

✅Today, meditate on the fact that God is keenly aware of you.

✅You are precious to Him. In fact, if you tried to add up all the thoughts God has about you, you would never be able to do it! And here is the amazing part.

✅Every day you wake up God is still with you; He is still having precious thoughts about you.

✅Today, live joyfully in this awareness.

✅I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Iam the seed of the God's covenant.

Father, I thank You for all Your precious thoughts about me. I thank You for caring and being there for me. I thank You that You have never taken Your eye off me and never will. Thank You for Your love. In Jesus’ name.

“Save me, O God, for the floodwaters are up to my neck. Deeper and deeper I sink into the mire; I can’t find a foothold. I am in deep water, and the floods overwhelm me. I am exhausted from crying for help; my throat is parched. My eyes are swollen with weeping, waiting for my God to help me.” – “Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged. For the LORD hears the cries of the needy.”

✅We all go through struggles and hard times,Life is not fair,there are times of sadness, despair and regret.

✅Everything seems overwhelming and yet in the end they were able to say that there is encouragement in seeking God’s help. Why? Because God hears us.

✅But the good news is that God hears us in our despair and He can help us. The authors write, “Life brings each of us inescapable traumas that block maturity.

✅God’s redemptive activity comes to us in two ways: He brings healing to our traumas, and adopts us into His family.

✅Both ways boost us through our blocks to maturity, along the way to wholeness. With these boosts, we will be able to live from the hearts He gave us, our true identities will emerge, and our relationships with family and community will be characterized by joy.”

✅Today, praise God for His grace and power in His healing of your emotions.

✅Also, as you participate and fellowship with others, sharing unconditional love for each other, you will become more mature and experience the joy God intended for you to have.

Deliver my life Lord from all emotional pain.

Father, thank You for hearing my cries. Thank You for Your desire to heal me from my traumas. Thank You for making me part of Your family where I can experience the love and fellowship that will bring me into maturity. I commit myself to You for my complete healing. In Jesus’ name.

*SCRIPTURE READING:Psalm 91:15–16 (KJV)*
He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

✅The Holy Scriptures are full of the promises of God. The promises of God are yes and amen
*(2 Corinthians 1:20)*

✅In other words, He is sure of fulfilling them in our lives if we will believe and declare continually by faith, and meet the conditions therein.

✅The opening scripture has some of the promises of God: If we call on Him, He will answer;

✅He will be with us in trouble; He will rescue us and honor us; He will satisfy us with long life; and He will show us His salvation.

✅This is the right time to burst into joyful shouts, dancing, and celebrating Him for these promises.

✅Don’t keep quiet on the promises of God when you come across them while reading, studying, and meditating on the Holy Scriptures.

✅Declare them excitedly by faith. Keep declaring them, and say, “Amen.” The Holy Spirit will bring them to pass in your life.

✅Remember, Jesus Christ is the Great High Priest of our confession, and He is happy to see us enjoy the promises of God. Hallelujah!

“He inquired of the LORD, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines?” The LORD answered him.”

✅It is easy to read this passage and not get the significance of the spiritual moment.

✅You see the truth is we worship the true and living God who wants to interact with us.

✅Christianity is more than a religion it is also mystical relationship with God.

✅The Philistines were threatening the town that David was in and his men wondered if they should fight.

✅David knew the odds were not in their favor but wanted to know what God thought about it.

✅So what did he do?
He asked God,and God answered him,We talk about prayer and so we talk to God, but we don’t spend much time listening.

✅God speaks through His word. God speaks through our conscience.

✅God speaks through Godly friends and leaders and God speaks through His Holy Spirit.

✅God speaks but are we in the habit of listening?

Father help me to spend much time on listening from you.

*PRAYER*
Father, I need to hear Your voice. There is so much I need to know from You. Please help me listen. Help me hear what you desire to say to me so I will follow Your will for my life. Today I come and pray with Samuel of old, “Speak Lord for Your servant hears you.”

✅Isn’t it exciting to know that God is more interested in you doing good than you are?
✅In fact, He is so invested in your success that He has equipped you with everything you need to do what He wants you to do.
✅In fact, the author of Hebrews says that God is going to produce in you, every good thing that is pleasing to Him, through the power of Jesus Christ!
✅No wonder the author could finish this passage by saying, “All glory to Him forever and ever! Amen.”
✅Today you can bring glory to God by living the way He has called you to.
✅Ask Him to help you do His will,Ask Him to provide all the power you will need to do every good thing that pleases Him today.

Father give me the power to do your will forever.

*PRAYER*
Father, thank You for equipping me with everything I need to do Your will. Thank You for Your power that You make available to me so I can do every good thing that is pleasing to You. Give me the strength to live for You this day. Give me the wisdom to know what to do, the courage to follow through and the faith to trust You with the outcome.
