2 Corinthians 9:7
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

“Each of you” Every believer is an individual and what you say for one believer doesn’t apply to another. “should give what you have decided in your heart to give” according to the norm or standard. The norm or standard for giving is found in the soul. The amount and the act of giving is the extension of doctrine in the right lobe. Capacities of all kinds are based on doctrine, and doctrine must be rooted in the soul. “not reluctantly or under compulsion” refers to mental distress; in this case, it means ‘pressure’. As a result, you feel forced to give because you feel trapped. It also implies gimmicks and compulsion. “For God loves a cheerful giver.” Grace is a principle that God loves. God keeps on loving the gracious giver.

2 THESSALONIANS 3:5
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.

“And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God.’ “The Lord” refers here to God the Father. It is God’s objective to move you to a point, namely supergrace. The heart is the soul’s mentality and is doctrine’s objective to reach supergrace. The love of God here refers to occupation with the person of the Lord Jesus Christ. If we are going to respond to the love of God then we must have maximum doctrine which is in the supergrace status. “and into the patient waiting for Christ.” The supergrace life in its perspective toward circumstances means patient endurance, a maximum faith-rest technique which comes under the supergrace life, maximum utilization or maximum exploitation of doctrine. This is done, as it says in the genitive here, for Christ.”

1 Corinthians 2:5
Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

“Your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.” If faith in Christ is founded on logic it can be refuted by logic. All it takes is a greater debater and a smarter person to use logic. Human logic can be refuted by human logic. God plans that the individual’s faith does not stand on human power. Faith which stands on human power can be overthrown by greater human power. The gospel is the power of God in salvation. Faith which stands in divine power cannot be defeated by human power, no matter how great that human power is. The Holy Spirit does the rest.
