Last Saturday, I visited Fujikawaguchiko Masjid.

I had the opportunity to speak at length with Mr. Kato, who is responsible for the masjid, and I truly appreciated the warm welcome and meaningful conversation. I was also very grateful to receive many Japanese translations of the Qur’an.

The masjid is located in the beautiful town of Fujikawaguchiko and has a wonderful atmosphere. There is also a HALAL restaurant attached, making it a welcoming place for both local Muslims and Muslim travelers.

I felt that Fujikawaguchiko Masjid is truly loved by the local Muslim community and by Muslim visitors from around the world.

Please check it out when you visit the Kawaguchiko area!

🕌🇯🇵 I had the opportunity to visit Kofu Masjid in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture.

Located just a 10-minute walk from Kofu Station, this beautiful mosque is welcoming, peaceful, and easily accessible.

It is a wonderful place not only for Muslims living in Yamanashi, but also for international students and visitors to the area.

A few years ago, I visited the historic Kobe Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Japan. As someone involved in Islamic burial work, it is a place that has greatly supported me over the years.

The area around the mosque is home to many halal shops and restaurants, creating a welcoming environment for Muslims. Walking through the neighborhood, you can truly feel the history and cultural heritage of Islam in Japan.

I personally love this place — the shop is run by a wonderful owner!
