曹洞宗大本山總持寺　瑩山禅師７００回大遠忌

9月1日（火）、監院寮にて関根則男様より風外本高禅師作の貴重な屏風1隻（6枚×2）をご寄贈いただきました。監院老師より感謝状と受領證をお渡しし、心より感謝申し上げます。
こちらの屏風は、御正忌前までは瑞応殿にて、御正忌期間中は紫雲臺にて期間限定で特別展示しております。展示終了後は宝蔵館にて大切に保管してまいります。ご寄贈いただきました関根則男様のご厚志に、重ねて深く御礼申し上げます。

On September 1st, we were deeply honored to receive a precious folding screen (consisting of two panels of six folding sections) created by Fugai Honko Zenji, donated through the generosity of Mr. Norio Sekine. During the ceremony at the Kan'in-ryo, the Kan'in Roshi presented a letter of appreciation along with a certificate of receipt.
This historic artwork is currently on limited display at Zuioden prior to Goshoki, and will be shown at Shiuntai during the Goshoki period. Following the exhibition, it will be carefully preserved in the Hozokan. We extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Norio Sekine for his wonderful generosity.

We sincerely pray for the swift recovery of the affected regions and that peaceful days will return to everyone as soon as possible.

GREEN×EXPO 2027に向けて、山内では着々と準備が進んでいます。先日行われた会議では、国内外の皆様に禅や自然、ウェルビーイングの魅力をお伝えできるよう、修行僧たちも混ざって活発な話し合いが行われました。会場での坐禅指導や外国語案内など、それぞれの特技や経験をどう活かすか熱心にアイデアを出し合っています。
そして嬉しいことに、修行僧が種から大切に育てる蓮の花が、まるでこの会議を応援するかのように見事な花を咲かせてくれました！
2027年、会場で皆様に禅と自然の心地よい調和を感じていただけるよう、修行僧をはじめ山内一丸となって心を込めて準備を進めてまいります。どうぞお楽しみに！

Preparations are underway for GREEN×EXPO 2027! In our recent planning meeting, our monks joined to discuss how we can best share the beauty of Zen, nature, and well-being with visitors from around the world. From leading zazen sessions to offering multilingual guidance, everyone is eager to contribute their unique skills.
To our delight, the lotus flowers—lovingly raised from seeds by the monks—bloomed beautifully just in time for the meeting!

香積台（総受付）でお祀りされている大黒尊天様をモチーフにした「レースお守り」が新しく加わりました。繊細で涼しげなレース地に、開運や福徳を授ける大黒様の温かなお心が込められています。色は優しいピンク色と爽やかな青色の2種類をご用意いたしました。

大きな緑の葉の間から、そっと顔をのぞかせる淡い桃色の花。
泥の中から茎を伸ばし、清らかな花を咲かせるその姿は、慌ただしい日常の中で心を静める「坐禅」の時間とも重なります。
一輪の蓮を眺め、呼吸を整え、ほんの少し自分の心に目を向けてみませんか。
總持寺では、来年開催される「Green×Exhibition（2027年国際園芸博覧会）」でも、こうした禅の世界を感じていただける場をお届けしたいと考えています。
これから蓮の成長とともに、花博に向けた取り組みについてもご紹介していきますので、どうぞお楽しみに。

The lotus flowers meticulously cared for by our monks within the temple grounds have bloomed beautifully.
The pale pink blossoms gently peek out from between the large green leaves.
The way they stretch their stems from the mud to bloom pure flowers resonates with the time of Zazen, a practice for calming the mind amidst busy daily life.
Why not take a moment to gaze at a single lotus, adjust your breathing, and look within your heart?
At Sojiji, we hope to provide a space where you can experience this world of Zen at the upcoming "Green×Exhibition" (International Horticultural Expo 2027, Yokohama, Japan).

Exciting news from our temple grounds! The lotus we’ve been lovingly caring for has formed a tiny, adorable bud, and it’s almost ready to bloom. Watching it grow bigger day by day brings us so much joy!
It’s truly heartwarming to see the little bud peeking out from between the large, vibrant green leaves. We can’t wait to see it in full bloom! Wishing you all a wonderful day filled with exciting moments.
