Think About The Harvest!

Tuesday, October 13th .
Pastor Chris

And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred (Mark 4:8).

When you give to the Lord, don’t do so with the mentality of lack or loss; don’t get in the flesh by “calculating” what’s left over. For instance, if you had ten thousand dollars, and wanted to give God two thousand dollars, don’t start thinking, “But I’ll only have eight thousand dollars left, which might not be enough for all my other expenses!” That’s not kingdom consciousness! Such mentality could hinder your harvest. You should rather ask yourself, “What’s the promise on these two thousand dollars that I’m about to give?”

You could have a thirty-fold return, a sixty-fold return, or a hundred-fold return! So, what you should be thinking about is the harvest. If you had ten, and gave two to the Lord, thirty-fold of that will be sixty. So, that’s sixty, including the extra eight that you still have with you, making sixty-eight! That should be your mentality. That way, you set into motion the miracle-working power of God for a great harvest. It’s a mentality; train yourself in it; be positive and expectant when you give to the Lord.

Interestingly, the promise of a thirty-fold harvest is the least: there’s the sixty, as well as the hundred-fold harvest; it depends on which one your faith can go for. Imagine if you got the sixty-fold return, the total is one hundred and twenty-eight! What about the hundred-fold return? That’ll be two hundred and eight—on the two that you gave, out of ten.

Someone might wonder, “What kind of calculation is that?” It’s Kingdom Mathematics! It’s a mystery to the people of the world, but in the Kingdom, it’s something real and practicable. So, when next you give an offering or a seed to the Lord, do it with Kingdom-consciousness, knowing that you play by a different set of rules. Think about the promise on your giving. Moreover, there’s a lot more than the immediate financial result. There’re other blessings that God causes to take place in your life that are way beyond money.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for showing me how to experience increase on every side. I have mighty harvests of blessings and miracles today. You’ve made all grace available to me, to have all sufficiency in all things, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work: ||

|| Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. ||

TRANSMIT THE RIGHT THOUGHTS

Pastor Chris

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things (Philippians 4:8).

Thoughts are powerful. Your thoughts release signals.
Have you ever observed that while you may be thinking about something or someone, that person starts thinking about you and possibly shows up? At other times, you may be thinking about calling someone on the phone, and that person starts thinking of hearing from you, or calling you. And sometimes, you could be thinking about a particular thing, even though you’ve not said anything about it, someone near you starts thinking the same thing.

Now if you understand the spirituality of this and the science behind it, you’ll be amazed and become more careful about the thoughts you allow. Don’t allow just any thought in your mind, because thoughts can be transmitted. We all transmit thoughts, and sometimes, we can transmit thoughts into our environment that eventually affect us negatively.

For example, your room could retain your thoughts.
Remember, everything in life has intelligence. The things in your room have memory; they receive information from you;
and whatever they get from you can remain in the room.
You might have heard the term “Walls have ears”; it’s a literal truth, a scientific truth, as well as a proverb. So, in releasing the thoughts on your mind, be very careful because you make something happen; it could either be what you want or what you don’t want. Sure enough, whatever you make happen will be consistent with your state of mind—your thoughts.

Always, the Lord says to us, “Fear not!” It’s because if you allow thoughts of fear, they’ll affect you negatively and cripple your faith; fear will stop the power of God from flowing in your direction. So, discipline your mind and use it correctly. Think happy and excellent thoughts. When negative thoughts come to you—thoughts of discomfort, frustration, depression, anger, lack, etc.—refuse them! Say, “No!” Then, utter words of faith, gratitude, and praise to the Lord instead.
You can use your mind to channel good things in your direction, and prevent the wrong things from happening.
Study our opening verse again and meditate on the kind of thoughts you should have and transmit.

PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank You for Your Word that has the ability to produce Your thoughts in me—thoughts of abundance, strength, victory, success, faith and the good life. As I study and meditate on Your Word, my mind is renewed, transformed and metamorphosed; positioned for the higher life of success, glory and unending victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

2015-10-12 08:55:00
Romans 5:1-5 says: "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us".

For 15min at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit, worshiping the Lord with thanksgiving, for His goodness, mercy and compassion towards us. Glorify Him for the trials and tribulations, which produce in us patience, experience, and hope, and for the victories He gives us through the Holy Spirit. Affirm that the Love of the Father is in you, therefore you walk in love daily, and all that concerns you is perfected to the praise of His glory. Blessed be His Name forever. Amen.

Knowledge Makes The Difference .

Sunday, October 11th .
Pastor Chris

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee… (Hosea 4:6).

Many years ago, Malaria was dreaded as a deadly disease, because it was said to have no cure.
If somebody contracted it, it was like a death sentence. Many missionaries from Europe who came to Africa contracted it, and didn’t survive. But because man discovered the cure, when one is infected with Malaria, it’s no longer dreaded as a terminal ailment. It was the same with Tuberculosis: those who were infected had to be quarantined or ostracized. But when man discovered the cure, it ended the fear of Tuberculosis.

Man fears what he has no knowledge of. Once he understands it, the fear is gone. The mystery is taken away once knowledge arrives. It’s the same thing with the matters of faith. When we don’t understand how to apply our faith in a given situation, we become skeptical, judgmental, afraid, and unbelieving. But once we understand how it works, the confusion is removed, the mystery is taken away.

All you need is the knowledge of God’s Word so you can put the Word to work. Once you have the accurate knowledge of the Word, nothing in this life will mystify or discomfit you; no matter what the problem is, you just know that you’ll come out victoriously.

Those who don’t know the Word are the ones who get overwhelmed by trouble and defeated by the crises of life. Get to know the Word. Have an insatiable appetite for God’s Word. Hosea 6:3 says, “Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord….” Getting the knowledge of God’s Word is one of the most important things you can do for yourself; that’s what will put you over in life, and keep you on the offensive, against the adversary.

PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for filling me with the knowledge of your Word in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Nothing is a mystery to me, because as I meditate on your Word, the Holy Spirit unveils spiritual realities to me, enlightening the eyes of my understanding to know and apprehend my inheritance in Christ! I live triumphantly because I live by the knowledge of your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Further Study: || 2 Peter 1:2-3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord, 3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: ||

|| Proverbs 11:9 An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered. ||

Have A Simplicity To Your Life .

Saturday, October 10th .
Pastor Chris

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee (Hebrews 13:5).

There’s something every child of God needs to understand: we’re not all at the same level at the same time. At a point in time, there may be things someone else can afford that you may not be able to afford at that stage of your life. There’s no need to keep fighting yourself and trying by all means to get those things. Have a simplicity to your life. Never stretch yourself to do things that are actually “beyond you” at the moment, just because you want to identify with a certain group.

For example, there’re people who want their children to be in certain schools just for the simple reason that they want to “measure up”; meanwhile, they may not be able to afford the fees at the time. They put themselves under undue pressure, struggling to keep up, just to be like someone else. Don’t stretch yourself too thin financially, because you’re doing things you shouldn’t be doing at the moment. That’s not so wise. Don’t place yourself under that kind of pressure. Make your life easier.

If you want to measure your life by looking at others, you could be frustrated. Follow the guidance of God’s Spirit. There’s a time for everything; what you may not be able to afford today, leave it for next time. Be content with what you have.

The word, “conversation” in our opening verse actually means “manner of life,” or “way of life.” Don’t indulge in an extravagant lifestyle just because you want others to think “you’ve arrived.” Be modest. Don’t crave something that belongs to other people, because God can do for you whatever you require Him to do for you. He’s your satisfaction. Have faith in Him; trust Him, and your life will be glorious.

CONFESSION

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits! He’s crowned me with loving-kindness and tender mercies; and satisfied me with good things! My life is free of struggles, because the Lord is my satisfaction! He’s all I crave, and I’m guided and propelled by His wisdom always. Amen.

Further Study: || 1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. ||

|| Luke 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. ||

|| Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. ||

Don’t "Fight" Anyone ·

Then Ahab brought it into the open: Will you join me in attacking Ramoth Gilead? Jehoshaphat said, You bet. I’m with you all the way; you can count on me and my troops. Then Jehoshaphat said, But before you do anything, ask GOD for guidance (2 Chronicles 18:3-4MSG).

The fight of faith is the only legitimate fight for the believer; and it’s not a fight with people. So, never fight or get into strife with anyone over anything. Fighting with people is a wrong fight. Sometimes, it might seem just to "fight" for something or a cause, but seek the Lord’s guidance.

For example, King Ahab was ready to fight hard to reclaim a land he believed rightfully belonged to him, and requested Jehoshaphat, King of Judah, to go with him to the battle. However, Jehoshaphat responded to him wisely and said, "…before you do anything, ask GOD for guidance."

If you think you’ve been defrauded or cheated by a fellow brother or sister, as you resolve to take up the matter, remember the scriptures. 1 Corinthians 6:7 says, "Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do you not rather take wrong? Why do you not rather suffer yourself to be defrauded?" Live the higher life; don’t strive with people. Like Ahab, many people fight for different "Ramothgileads" today, without listening to the Lord. Don’t function that way.

The Lord has already established you on the Rock, Christ Jesus, and no weapon fashioned against you can prosper. It doesn’t matter who’s against you; they can’t take away from you that which God has given you. You’re not like everybody else. You’re different, and can never be disadvantaged.

Consider Abraham: when he had what could have been a land dispute with his nephew, Lot, he resolved it without any altercation. Abraham, with a heavenly consciousness, said to his nephew, "...let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren" (Genesis 13:8). That’s the way heavenly men talk. They don’t think they might have a disadvantage. That’s the way you should think, and when you do, you wouldn’t need to fight anyone for anything.

Prayer

Dear Father, I thank you for your Word, and the Holy Spirit that guides me in the path of truth and your perfect will always. I’m confident that my desires are established, because they’re in accordance to your will, and all things will always work together for my good, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Prayer at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT) - Fri Oct 9

2 Corinthians 6:1 - 10 says: "As God's co- workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. 2 For he says, "In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you."I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.3 We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. 4 Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; 5 in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; 6 in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; 7 in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; 8 through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; 9 known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; 10 sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything".

In both 15min sessions at 12noon and 10pm (Local/GMT), we'll pray fervently in the spirit and intercede for fellow Christians around the world. Pray that the grace they have received through the Gospel of Christ which they have heard will not be in vain, rather it will produce in them the fruits of righteousness. Pray that they will continue in the faith and live worthy of God's calling, pleasing Him in all things. Pray also for ministers of the Gospel around the world, especially those facing persecutions for the sake of the Gospel; that they be strengthened and protected by God's Spirit. Pray that the work of the Lord will prosper in their hands, and that through them, many more will be added to the Kingdom, that Christ may be glorified. God bless you.
