A ROMANIST MYTH: MARS HELPS VENUS DESIGN & BLESS THE 1ST ROMANS:
The Roman god of war, Mars was feeling lonely and aimless having scarce servants after the Titan war.
So, him and his most important wife, the Roman goddess of love, Venus helped each-other design the Romans to keep them company and serve them. They sculpted Roman statues from the soil of Rome in their ideal image and turned them into celestial bronze.
Venus blessed the Roman statues with outstanding statuesque and demigodly beauty. Then, Prometheus breathed the aether into the statues to bring them to life.
Whatever actions the gods did sometimes similarly mirrored on Earth.
As Prometheus breathed life into the Roman statues, the Italics who would later become the first Romans were born in the image of Mars and Venus, except that the were made of human flesh-not bronze.
Mars sent one of his sons, a minor divinity of war and wolves, Romulus to incarnate from his celestial kingdom as a mortal upon the Earth on a divine mission to establish Rome, in return for godhood.
Long story short: Romulus did as his father asked and gathered people around Italy to become the first Romans.
Mars breathed fire into the souls of the Roman statues. At the same time, the souls of the Romans became a flame. Mars blessed that this sacred flame would bless the Romans with love, rage, desire, virtue, passion, strength, courage and patriotism for Rome.
Mars and Venus called the Romans the ideal golden / bronze / imperial race as they were a divine race that was neither god nor mortal. (However, some Romans later became more corrupt-betraying Rome, so they became ordinary mortals).
Mars and Minerva blessed the Romans with advanced intelligence and global power by breathing their conscience into them, so they could spread the empire of Mars, across the world.
Mars, as well as Minerva taught the Romans to invent, as well as build their military equipment and structures. They boosted the morale of the legions and trained them to fight. They taught them military skills and strategies. They led them to victory in battle. Mars, Lupa and Romulus also guard Rome.
The Romans called Mars their father and he called them his demigod children. Lupa is their mother and Romulus, their brother.
(A similar story goes for how Ares created the Spartans)
