En este tercer domingo de Adviento, en “Mateo 11:2-11”, se nos invita a reconocer la presencia de Dios en medio de nosotros. Juan pregunta si Jesús es el Mesías, y el Señor responde con sus obras: los ciegos ven, los cojos andan, los pobres reciben la Buena Noticia. Algo nuevo está ocurriendo. Como Juan, estamos llamados a la firmeza y a la fe auténtica, a abrir los ojos y acoger a Cristo con una vida que responda a su acción transformadora.

On this third Sunday of Advent, in “Matthew 11:2–11”, we are invited to recognize God’s presence among us. John asks if Jesus is the Messiah, and the Lord answers through His works: the blind see, the lame walk, and the poor receive the Good News. Something new is happening. Like John, we are called to firmness and authentic faith, to open our eyes and welcome Christ with a life that responds to His transforming action.

Reflexión 2do Domingo de Adviento
El evangelio nos habla sobre la importancia de convertirnos y seguir los caminos De Dios, del Dios verdadero, aunque en muchas ocasiones seamos juzgados o criticados. Las cosas que vienen De Dios son más grandes que todo lo que podemos ver, tocar o sentir y aun y en la pobreza más desafiante como en la que estaba Juan el Bautista, él sabía y confiaba en que el amor De Dios le iba a dar absolutamente todo lo que él necesitaba. Juan iba preparando los caminos del señor y ese es nuestro deber: gritar su nombre aunque estemos en el desierto.
