Happy Sunday friends,how is the weather in your area? Here, we are about to roll into another season. " GOD OF ALL SEASONS"( Ecclesiastes 3, Gen 8:22)... Beloved,God is sovereign over every shifting circumstance because He is the God of all seasons.
While our lives constantly change- navigating seasons of Joy, grief, waiting,or abundance - God remains completely constant. We live in a world defined by change. In the natural world,we watch leaves fall, winter freeze, flowers bloom,and summer heatwave like we had in this part of the world these past weeks take over! Our personal lives follow the exact same rhythm.
Brethren, you may currently be in some certain seasons thus...(1) Season of "Abundance " where everything is flourishing (2) You may be in a in season of "Scarcity " or wilderness,where resources and energy feel dry (3) You may be in the season of " Waiting ", wondering when your prayers will be finally be answered!
The great good news of the Gospel is that while our seasons change,the God who holds the seasons does not! Lean into the Grace of Jesus Christ. He entered our world of shifting times and seasons,died for our sins,and rose again to make us a " New Creation"- completely secure for eternity,no matter what tomorrow brings.... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday people of God..." PUT HIM FIRST" ( Matthew 6:33).... Beloved with what is happening in the world now it's important to remind ourselves that, nothing is worth giving our attention if not hundred percent dedication to God Almighty.
Some still rely on whatnot, chariots of war, governmental boasting,wards of money and some on acquired education certificates! Putting God first means making Him the top priority in our daily life, decisions,and worries. Looking deeper in our text this morning,Jesus said ,when we seek His kingdom and righteousness first,then He promised to provide for our daily needs and carry our burdens!
Brethren, always look out for the problems of Misplaced priorities in our daily lives like (1) The root of Worry (2) The sledding Scale (3)The Worldly pattern....Time will not help to expanciate on these points,but, let me encourage us to "Put Him First ", thus ...(A) Trust instead of Stress (B) Honor Him with your resources as you can (C) Align your plans with His. Beloved, this is divine promises; When we take of God's priorities,He takes personal responsibility for all our needs,true freedom from fear comes when we hand over our tomorrow to our ever loving heavenly father.... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday friends from here, I pray whatever weather we face anywhere in the world,God name be praised..."IN SEASON AND OUT OF SEASON" (2 Timothy 4:1-5) Beloved,what we face now is called " Climate Change", this is also equivalent to Changing climate of Faith,what heatwaves has done to us in Europe this year is an eye saw and what rain is doing in Africa is not a joke! We live in a world obsessed with the perfect timing.We wait for the right market conditions to invest.We wait for the perfect weather to travel.We wait until it feels comfortable to speak up.
Brethren,here,in our text this morning when Apostle Paul wrote this final letter to his young protégé, TIMOTHY, he was sitting in a dark cold Roman Prison facing ex*****on. Normally,the cultural climate was fiercely hostile to Christians. It was dangerous. It was inconvenient. It was completely " OUT of SEASON" yet Paul didn't tell Timothy to lay low until things blew over! Instead,he gave him a solemn charge !
Friends,what does it mean to be ready in " In Season and Out of Season"? It simply means our commitment to God's truth,we cannot be dependent on our external circumstances. We are called to be consistent when it is easy,and immovable when it is hard! Note,to be " In Season" means to act when conditions are favourable, convenient and welcome. To be " Out of Season" means to stand firm when the truth is unpopular, inconvenient,or heavily resisted. When you speak the truth,live out your Faith,and serve others,you are not doing it for the applause of the culture,you are not doing it for an audience of one.Seasons will change, trends will fade, popular opinion will shift like wind,but the words of God stands for ever... Beloved,be instant,be ready, keep pressing on, remember, whether the world welcomes you or walks away... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday friends and happy New Month of August,we are getting there step by step..."WHY SIT WE HERE UNTIL WE DIE?" (2 Kings 7:3-9) I trust we all know about the story the 4 lepers during a severe famine in the city of Samaria facing certain starvation at the city gates,they are staying still means death!, prompting a bold step of " Faith" that ultimately saves an entire nation! Brethren, this is not Nollywood fairly tales but, it's in the Bible.
Beloved,I am here to tell you that, Faith requires movement, Stagnation guarantees defeat! Taking a step towards God opens the door to supernatural provision.Looking at the story in our text this morning,the city of Samaria was under siege just like many nations on Earth nowadays, remember the famine was so horrific that people were driven to extreme just to survive! Just like today.Outside the city gates sat four men afflicted with leprosy. They were outcasts - rejected by their community and left out to starve to whatever!
These 4 men looked at their options and realised they had 3 choices (1) Go into the city...where they would die of famine...(2) Sit still at the gate..Where they would definitely die of starvation (3) Surrender to the enemy...Where they might be killed or might live. In their desperation,they asked the life-changing question: " Why sit we here until we die?" Brethren, we all saw what the Almighty God did with there situation when they decided to move! What area of your life have you been passively sitting in??? Is it a stagnant career,a broken relationship,death of spouse,a spiritual drought,or an old habit, economic hardship, just to mention a few! Remaining where you are will only yield the same result.It is time to get up, shake off the dust of complacency,and move forward into what God has already prepared for me and you .... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday people of God, it's another lord's day and we shall talk to ourselves with His words."THE HEALING POWER OF A MERRY HEART"( Proverbs 17:22) Friends,let me introduce to you this morning; Heaven's health care plan. We leave in a world plague by epidemic of heavy hearts. Every single day, anxiety, financial stress, global uncertainty,and personal loss knock on our doors, trying to weigh down our souls.
Beloved, nobody wakes up in the morning praying to feel depressed or defeated,yet millions walk through life carrying crushing burdens.Long before modern science discovered the links between mental stress and physical illness,King Solomon - inspired by the Holy - Spirit -Penned a biological and spiritual reality ( Today's text) " Your inner joy affects your outer health".
God has provided an emotional and physical therapy agent that requires no pharmacy,carries zero cost,and has absolutely no negative side effects.It is the medicine of a " Merry Heart" Because of time! Let's us quickly defined biblical Merry Heart...(1)...The Meaning of Joy Vs Happiness (2) A Resilient Disposition (3) A Continual Feast.
Now, let's check the opposite of Merry Heart; Bitter Heart...(A) It saps our Vitality (B) It destroys one's countenance (C) It Compromises ones well-being. You cannot always control what comes at you,but through Christ,you can entirely control what comes from you. Your victory is not determined by your external reality,but by the spiritual reality governing your inner mind. Note, Jesus Had already overcome the world, therefore, you have full permission to Smile, Laugh, and Rejoice, Brethren, take God prescription today...Let your Faith fuel your Smile, keep your praise loud and live a " Merry Heart"...... Happy Sunday friends, it's the lord's day and we shall all be glad in it...." GIVE UNTO CAESAR WHAT BELONGS TO CAESAR"(Matthew 22:21) It's a famous quote in the Bible,which means you should give appropriate credit, obedience,or payment to the person, authority or institution that has rightfully earned or legally demands it.
Some events lately brought about our topic this morning that made our Lord Jesus Christ urtterd this proverbs to the critics of then. Don't let us forget that argument about paying taxes to the Roman Emperor (Caesar) then, Jesus, asked to see a coin used for the tax,He pointed out Caesar's face on the coin and as they say the rest is history.
We can rightly divided today's topic into two ways (1) Civic Duty...It highlights the separation between wordly obligations ( Like paying taxes or obeying laws)and spiritual or personal beliefs (2) Giving Credit: In everyday speech,it means acknowledging someone's talent, effort,or authority,even if do not personally like them, either in business or teamwork.... Happy Sunday friends, trust we are feeling this weather wherever we are.. "EVIL CAN'T PREVAIL OVER GOODNESS " ( Roma's 12:21)...From time in memorial and examining the scripture deeply foundations,the nature of goodness,and practical applications,we are reminded that light always dispel darkness! Allow me to speak in my mother's tongue " Iwa ika kope".
The Foundation: God's Character...At the very core of the universe, goodness is the defining characteristics of God. Beloved,the scripture tells us that God is light,and in Him, there's no darkness! Hallelujah...( 1 John 1:5)
Brethren,the creator of the world is intrinsically good, righteousness and justice are the very foundation of His throne ( Psalm 89:14) Evil is not any equal and opposite force to God; rather,it is a corruption or absence of good.Therefore, evil lacks the creative, sustainable power of the Almighty God and can never permanently triumph in any giving circumstances!
God's power and goodness cannot be stopped by the forces of darkness.What was meant for evil was redeemed for ultimate good. The world often operates on the principle of retaliation - Fighting darkness with darkness,and returning hurt for hurt, but, as followers of the good,we are called to a higher, supernatural strategy.Note, evil cannot be driven out by more evil ,it only escalates.... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday friends,I greet you specially as the weather indicates here...." WHEN THE STORM IS OVER"( Mark 4:39)...Just this immediate past week,we are faced with a severe weather condition and were warn to keep indoors everybody, and the following day I heard about some losses and heavy lamentations from neighbours but, thereafter everyone picked up the pieces and started all-over again and everything went back to normal.
It's like a fair- tale or the usual cork and bull story but beloved it isn't,this is a weather disturbance right in the heart of summer and people can relate! How about the storm of life!? The end is not just relief,it is an invitation to covenant Brethren.
Just as Jesus Christ calmed the wind and the waves in our text this morning ,a storm's purpose is to reveal the divine power and deepen our faith in Christ Jesus. The aftermath is a season of new beginnings, covenant promises,and renewed obedience!
Beloved,time will not permit me to expanciate larger, but we can make do with some key points on this topic...(1) The Presence of Peace...The calm after the storm is proof that He is still the master of the wind (2) The Purpose Of the Pain: Storms do not come to destroy you; they come to promote you.The scars you carry becomes a testament to His faithfulness.(3) The shift in Perspective: When the storm is over, you will notice your faith has grown,and your trust in God Almighty is deeper than it was before the wind blows.(4) In conclusion; The Step Forward...Leave the wreckage of the past behind,and bodly step forward into the " New Season" He has prepared for you and me ... SHALOM!!!

Happy Sunday friends, during this heat waves all- over all I can say is let's hope for the best from God.... "WAITING ON THE LORD" (Psalm 27:14) Brethren,this statement is not a passive pause in life,it's the most difficult period for us when waiting for answers from our petion to God, it's an active,it teaches patience and it's purposeful season of spiritual strengthening.
Beloved, instead of wasting time in frustration, needless to explain how we always feel this period,in our today's text we are called to quiet our souls,deepen our focus,and trust God's promises, ultimately renewing our strength to soar.
The 3 core truths of waiting; Friends, understanding this Spiritual discipline helps transform how we view our seasons of delay...(1) It is not idleness; It is Service (2) It is active Endurance (3)It is Focused Anticipation.
Beloved,this is what we can do if we ever find ourselves in God's " Waiting Room"....(A) Quiet Your Soul (B) Nurture Your Faith (C) Rest in the Promises. Finally,note that God's delays are never denials,the Bible makes me understand " Those who expect and look for the Lord will renew their strength"..(Isaiah 40:31) Hallelujah.... SHALOM!!!
