Unforgiveness is a spiritual trap that binds your heart to the very pain you are trying to escape, while forgiveness is the key that sets you free.

By Dr. Amen Howard

When you refuse to forgive, the hurt doesn't remain in the past—it follows you, quietly poisoning your peace, your relationships, and your walk with God.

The hidden cost of holding onto offense:

It blocks your prayers and spiritual growth. Jesus made it clear that our relationship with God is directly tied to how we treat others. Unforgiveness creates a spiritual barrier between you and God’s mercy.

It gives the enemy a foothold. Harboring resentment, anger, and malice creates an open door for bitterness to root deep within your soul, warping your perspective on life and people.

It harms you far more than the offender. Holding onto unforgiveness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to suffer. It drains your emotional energy and deprives you of the joy and peace God intended for you.

Scriptural Truths on Unforgiveness & Mercy

Matthew 6:14–15: "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins."

Ephesians 4:31–32: "Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

Mark 11:25: "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

Colossians 3:13: "Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

Hebrews 12:15: "See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many."

Forgiveness isn't excusing what happened, nor is it denying the pain. It is a conscious choice to release the debt to God, trusting Him as the ultimate judge so that your heart can finally heal.

MY GOD IS ABLE!
BY Dr. Amen Howard.

EPHESIANS 3:20-21
*"Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen."*

As believers, we serve a God who is all-powerful and able to do exceeding abundantly above all we ask or think.

His power is limitless, and His ability is boundless.

When we declare "My God is able," we are affirming our faith in His sovereignty and capability.

God's ability is our strength. He can overcome any challenge, heal and restore, and do the impossible.

With God, all things are possible. He can part the waters, calm the storms, and make giants fall.
God's power makes what seems impossible possible. He can work miracles and bring about breakthroughs in our lives.

Your season of
No More Pains."
By Dr. Amen Howard

enduring relentless hurt is coming to an end, because God promises a divine mandate of victory: "No More Pains." Throughout life, pain can take many forms—physical agony, emotional heartbreak, financial distress, or spiritual exhaustion. But God never intended for pain to be your permanent address; it is merely a passing season.

1. Pain Has an Expiration Date

Pain often feels unending when you are in the middle of it, but God has already set a boundary around your suffering. Your trial is temporary, but His glory in your life is eternal.

Revelation 21:4 — "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

Key Takeaway: The ultimate promise of God is total restoration. The things that cause you sorrow today belong to an "old order" that is actively passing away.

2. Joy Is Coming in the Morning

You may be weeping tonight, but weeping does not have the final say over your life. God is shifting your spiritual night into a brand-new day.

Psalm 30:5 — "For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning."

Do not judge your future by your current midnight. God is preparing a morning of joy, relief, and renewed strength that will swallow up the memories of your pain.

3. Divine Healing for Broken Hearts and Bodies

God does not just ignore your pain—He touches it, heals it, and binds up every wound you’ve carried.

Psalm 147:3 — "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

Jeremiah 30:17 — "'For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,' says the Lord."

Declare this now: Whatever was broken by life's hardships, God specializes in restoring. Receive His healing power into your heart, body, and mind right now.

4. Your Pain Will Yield Eternal Glory

The enemy meant your pain to break you, but God is using it to build you. The trial you are enduring is producing a testimony that will outshine the struggle.

Romans 8:18 — "I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us."

2 Corinthians 4:17 — "For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all."

Shift your focus from the weight of the pain to the weight of the glory that is coming.

Declaration of Faith

Declare this over your life today: "I step out of the shadow of past hurt and into the light of God's promise. My tears are dried, my heart is healed, and my strength is renewed. By faith, I claim a season of peace, health, and joy—NO MORE PAINS in Jesus' name!"
