Fulvio Colucci nasce il 21 ottobre 2003 a Santa Maria Capua Vetere, ma nell'arco della sua giovane vita, vive con la madre e le sorelle anche a Caserta, Roma e Milano. All'età di 13 anni viene colpito da una grave malattia, un tumore cerebrale che combatterà strenuamente nei tre anni successivi. In quei tre anni, dà prova di quanto coraggio possa darci la fede, quanta resilienza si cela nell'intim

ità della preghiera e dell'unione a Dio. La famiglia gli è stata accanto fino all'ultimo e così anche il Padre Celeste, che l'ha accolto con sé il 22 febbraio 2020, all'età di 16 anni. Ciò che Fulvio è stato e continua ad essere, vive in tutti coloro che ha toccato e che, anche oggi da lassù, continua ad ispirare ad affidarsi completamente alla grandezza di Dio e alle sue infinite strade. Le sue spoglie sono ora custodite nel Cimitero di Caserta, presso la quinta Cappella gentilizia della Reale Arciconfraternita del SS.

Mi butto in te, Signore!
Le menzogne del male mi hanno stancato;
il suo farmi credere che sono diversa da come tu mi vedi mi è venuto a noia;
trattenere un senso di fatica in ogni cosa, come se solo quella ci sia data da vivere in terra, è un peso di cui voglio fare a meno.
È gioia nel mio cuore per la tua grazia, Padre mio.

The lies of evil have wearied me; its attempts to make me believe that I am different from how You see me have become tiresome to me.
Holding on to a sense of weariness in everything, as though that were the only thing we are given to experience on earth, is a burden I no longer wish to carry.
There is joy in my heart because of Your grace, my Father.

Quanta parte abbiamo nel tuo piano perfetto, Signore !
Ci crediamo un niente e tu dici: "Seguimi!"
Ci crediamo unici artefici del nostro destino e tu dici: "Seguimi!"
Perché se senza di te non possiamo fare nulla, con te facciam sí che il Bene si faccia strada, che la tua Gloria si innervi in questo mondo rivoltato.

Perdere il gusto nel fare le cose, continuare a fare il bene sapendo che non c'è altra via che si voglia seguire, ma senza provare lo slancio di un tempo.
Pensieri, azioni meccaniche, senza sapore.
Dentro si è perso qualcosa.
Noi SIAMO il sale della terra - ci dici, Gesù. Non è qualcosa da conquistare: lo siamo già in te Sigmore.
"Chi rimane in me, ed io in lui, fa molto frutto"
Che io non dimentichi mai chi sono in te, Gesù!
In te c'è il gusto della vita e lo farò assaggiare a chiunque incontrerò.

“I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. You cannot tolerate wicked people.
You have persevered and have endured hardships for My name, and have not grown weary.
Yet I hold this against you: you have forsaken the love you had at first.”

To lose the joy in what we do, to continue doing good knowing there is no other path we wish to follow, yet without the enthusiasm we once had.
Thoughts and actions become mechanical, without flavor.
Something within has been lost.
“You are the salt of the earth,” You tell us, Jesus. It is not something we must earn or achieve: we already are, in You, Lord.
“Whoever remains in Me, and I in them, will bear much fruit.”
May I never forget who I am in You, Jesus!
In You is the true flavor of life, and I will share that taste with everyone I meet.

Quando sono gonfia delle mie certezze, delle mie soluzioni, quanto è facile chiederti, Signore, giusto un 'aiutino' che non debba peró mettere in discussione ciò che penso sia bene fare.
Se mi chiedessi di prendere un'altra direzione annasperei: spogliarmi del 'ciò che so' per passare al 'ciò che sai' è attraversare un varco troppo stretto al primo sguardo.
Ma se mi riconosco povera, se affido tutto di me a te, che sei la mia Risposta prima ancora ch'io abbia formulato la domanda, quella soglia vedrà il mio passo farsi strada.

When I am filled with my own certainties, my own solutions, how easy it is to ask You, Lord, for just a little help—provided that it does not challenge what I believe is the right thing to do.
If You were to ask me to take another direction, I would struggle: to let go of “what I know” in order to embrace “what You know” is, at first glance, to pass through a gate that seems far too narrow.
But if I recognize my poverty, if I entrust my whole self to You, who are my Answer even before I have formed the question, then that threshold will see my steps find their way.

È la porta alla meraviglia del tuo cuore che cerca il mio, per separarvi la verità dalla menzogna, la vita dalla morte, e renderlo scrigno del tuo amore che mi feconda e trasfigura.

È l'invito quotidiano a cercare punti di contatto anziché linee di divisione nelle nostre relazioni, in famiglia, sul lavoro, dovunque siamo.
E laddove ci trovassimo di fronte al muro dell'incomunicabilitá altrui la nostra rinuncia ad alimentare discordie - non per paura o per sottomissione, ma per amore di un principio più alto di giustizia e verità - ci porterà lontano da inutili 'partite di braccio di ferro' rendendoci concreti ambasciatori del tuo regno.

Non basta restare affascinati dalla tua Parola, Signore se poi la si lascia scivolare via come la sabbia tra le dita.
È il tesoro nascosto nel campo e il campo deve essere fatto proprio, il mistero sondato, la tua Grazia invocata affinché dirti 'tu sei il Signore della mia vita' non sia uno slogan, ma la verità di un cuore che si fa tuo di più ogni giorno.

It is not enough to be fascinated by Your Word, Lord, if we then allow it to slip away like sand through our fingers.
It is the treasure hidden in the field, and the field itself must become our own. The mystery must be explored, and Your Grace invoked, so that saying, “You are the Lord of my life,” may not be a slogan, but the truth of a heart that becomes more fully Yours each day.

🇮🇹'L'ipocrisia è l'omaggio che la verità rende all'errore' pensava George Bernard Shaw.
Fingere di essere qualcos'altro rispetto alla vera spinta che abbiamo dentro condanna ad entrare in una via chiusa credendola la strada verso l'appagamento.
Signore, rendi limpido il nostro agire.
Solo la Verità ci compie. Il resto è un'illusione.
