Our Vision: P.A.S.S together
The pass together initiative is born from the youth vision and motto: Pass together. Pass is an acronym which stands for pray, associate, share and standout. As youths we have the vision of praying together, associating together, sharing together and standing out together.
The pass together initiative seeks to address the practicality of the PASS vision.
As part of *praying together*, the youths are divided into groups with maximum of five members and are expected to hold conference calls and pray at least once in two weeks. Apart from that, youth general night vigils are also held once in two months.
Talking of *Associating together*, the youths are encouraged to patronise fellow youths who have one vocation or the other, such as hair dressing, Tailoring, e.t.c . The last meetings of the months are also used to celebrate birthdays of those born in the month. Apart from that, youths are also grouped in twos and expected to call each other before the next youth meeting.
As part of *sharing together*, youths are expected to share useful information between themselves, such as job publications, e.t.c. They are also expected to share materials and what have you. Get together programs are organised quarterly, during which youths are grouped in twos and are expected to buy a gift for their partner.
In order to *stand out* together, our greatest vision is to bring up young talents, by encouraging them to perform during youth meetings and church programs. We are also interested in standing out both spiritually and physically, hence the vision to raise youth ministers and youths of academic excellence.
The PASS TOGETHER INITIATIVE is new, growing and subject to modifications/improvements, we welcome support in every way possible.
