زار قداسة البطريرك مار كيوركيس الثالث يونان، الجاثليق البطريرك الكنيسة الشرقية القديمة في العراق والعالم، بتاريخ 8 كانون الثاني 2026، وبرفقة اخوته أعضاء مجلس رؤساء الطوائف المسيحية في العراق، أخاه قداسة البطريرك مار إغناطيوس أفرام الثاني، بطريرك الكنيسة السريانية الأرثوذكسية، وذلك في مقر مطرانية السريان الأرثوذكس في بغداد.
وجرت الزيارة في أجواء أخوية عكست عمق العلاقات التاريخية والروحية التي تجمع الكنائس الشقيقة، حيث تم تبادل التهاني بمناسبة عيد ميلاد ربنا يسوع المسيح ورأس السنة الجديدة، والتأكيد على أهمية تعزيز أواصر التعاون والعمل المشترك بين الكنائس، بما يخدم رسالة الشهادة المسيحية ويعزز حضورها الروحي والوطني في العراق.

On January 8, 2026, His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Younan, Catholicos-Patriarch of the Ancient Church of the East in Iraq and worldwide, accompanied by his brothers members of the Council of Christian Church Leaders in Iraq, visited His Holiness Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of the Syriac Orthodox Church, at the Syriac Orthodox Archdiocese in Baghdad.

The visit took place in a fraternal atmosphere that reflected the depth of the historical and spiritual relations that unite the sister churches. Greetings were exchanged on the occasion of the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ and the New Year, and emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening cooperation and joint work between the churches, in order to serve the mission of Christian witness and enhance their spiritual and national presence in Iraq.

زار قداسة البطريرك مار كيوركيس الثالث يونان الجاثليق البطريرك الكنيسة الشرقية القديمة في العراق والعالم، يوم الخميس 8 كانون الثاني 2026، رئاسة الديوان، حيث التقى معالي رئيس الديوان الدكتور رامي جوزيف آغاجان، مقدّمًا التهاني والتبريكات بمناسبة أعياد الميلاد المجيدة ورأس السنة الميلادية، وبحضور الوكيل الديني والثقافي في الديوان السيد داسن سليمان سفو.
وأعرب قداسة البطريرك خلال اللقاء عن تمنياته بأن يكون العام الجديد عامًا مليئًا بالخير والسلام للعراق وشعبه، مشيدًا بدور الديوان في رعاية دور العبادة وتعزيز قيم التعايش والوحدة الوطنية.
من جانبه، رحّب معالي رئيس الديوان بزيارة قداسة البطريرك، مؤكّدًا استمرار دعم الديوان للمبادرات التي تخدم المكونات الدينية وتعزز حضورها الثقافي والخدمي.

His Holiness Mar Gewargis III Younan, Catholicos Patriarch of the Ancient Church of the East in Iraq and worldwide, visited the headquarters of the Office of Endowments of Christians, Ezidian, and Sabian Mandaean on Thursday, January 8, 2026. He met with His Excellency the Head of the Endowment Office, Dr. Rami Joseph Aghajan, and offered congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of Christmas and the New Year. The meeting was also attended by the Religious and Cultural Affairs Officer of the Endowment Office, Mr. Dasen Suleiman Safo.

During the meeting, His Holiness the Patriarch expressed his hope that the new year would be a year of goodness and peace for Iraq and its people, praising the role of the Endowment Office in caring for places of worship and promoting the values ​​of coexistence and national unity.

For his part, His Excellency the Head of the Endowment Office welcomed the visit of His Holiness the Patriarch, affirming the Endowment Office's continued support for initiatives that serve religious communities and enhance their cultural and service-oriented presence.

وقدّم المجتمعون التهاني لسعادة السفير بمناسبة تسلّمه مهامه الجديدة، مؤكدين أمنياتهم له بالتوفيق في أداء رسالته، كما أعربوا عن فرحتهم بمناسبة عيد ميلاد ربّنا يسوع المسيح ورأس السنة الجديدة.

أشادَ قداسةُ البطريرك خلال اللقاء بالمواقف الوطنيّة السلميّة التي يتبنّاها سماحةُ السيد عمار الحكيم، مثمِّنًا حضوره إلى كاتدرائية مريم العذراء ومشاركته في قدّاس عيد ميلاد ربّنا يسوع المسيح، بما يعكس روح الاحترام المتبادل والتلاقي الوطني.

During the meeting, His Holiness the Patriarch praised the peaceful national stances adopted by His Eminence Sayyid Ammar al-Hakim, appreciating his presence at the Cathedral of Saint Mary, the Blessed Virgin, and his participation in the Christmas Mass of our Lord Jesus Christ, which reflects the spirit of mutual respect and national unity.

استقبل قداسة البطريرك مار كيوركيس الثالث يونان، الجاثليق البطريرك للكنيسة الشرقية القديمة في العراق والعالم، سكرتير عام الحركة الديمقراطية الآشورية السيد يعقوب كيوركيس، وذلك في مقر بطريركية الكنيسة الشرقية القديمة يوم السبت الموافق 2026/01/03.
وتبادل الطرفان التهاني بمناسبة عيد ميلاد ربنا يسوع المسيح ورأس السنة الجديدة 2026. وخلال اللقاء، أكد قداسته على أهمية التعاون المشترك في سبيل خدمة المكوّن المسيحي وتعزيز حضوره ودوره، مشددًا على ضرورة تكاتف الجهود لما فيه خير الشعب، والحفاظ على القيم الروحية والإنسانية، ودعم الاستقرار المجتمعي، وخدمة الصالح العام بروح المسؤولية والوحدة.
