At GBI, students delve into the biblical foundations of Protestantism and the ways Reformation Theology has shaped Christian thought and practice.

By integrating Reformation Theology (some of the most important biblical scholarship of the Christian era) into GBI's curriculum, we do not merely hope to broaden students' understanding of the history of the Christian faith & the roots of their own faith.
We pray that they will imbibe the flame of knowledgeable zeal and earnest urgency to confront the difficult questions about doctrine and practice in today's church — with strong personal holiness, equipped with faithful Biblical hermeneutic and application, and an indomitable spirit of boldness — based squarely on His infallible Word, for Christ and His glory.

It was from this room that Mrs Spurgeon sent out numerous books to needy pastors, ministers and evangelists all over UK. Those whose yearly income was only £150 or less per year could apply on a yearly basis to her Book Fund ministry. Mrs Spurgeon would also prayerfully include essentials, such as cloth materials; many wives noted her added gifts to be timely provisions for their needs.

We give glory to God that today, we can also testify of God's supply of our need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Here is a picture of some good books recently received for our college library.

We thank the Lord for the generosity extended to us by a stranger - a gift of new books to our college library.

An American, whom we had no prior contact with, came to know of our ministries online and was moved to kindly purchase & send these resources to us. It was also an answer to our prayer (1 John 5:14-15). Praise the Lord!

Let brotherly love continue (Hebrews 13:1ff).

We thank the Lord providing our students with lifetime access to 1.5lakh worth of resources via a customised plan with Logos Bible Software, to equip them in their life and ministry.

It has been exactly a month since Opening Day for AY 2022/23 in July.

Please pray that both teachers & students will be clothed with humility and the fear of the Lord as they study & rightly divide His Word. Pray that they would not seek academic nor intellectual glory, but will wait upon Him for "riches, and honour, and life" in His time (Proverbs 22:4).

Please uphold us in prayer as we begin a new semester this Monday. Pray that our students will grow in diligence, humility and fear of the Lord as they learn His Word among His people. Pray for continued grace, strength and sustenance for the faculty. Pray that all we think, say and do may abound to the glory of God alone.
