Sri Anantha Padmanabha Temple Perdoor Perdoor is a picturesque village located at a distance of 22 Km from Udupi towards Hebri. Sri Ananthapadmanabha temple is the main attraction of Perdoor.

Anantha Padmanabha means Rama and Lakshmana together as the legend says that Rama had promised Lakshmana that they would be together in Kaliyuga and Seetha Maatha is believed to be in the lake which is called "Padmasarovara". This is very old temple located in the center of the village. Sri Anathapadmanabha temple also has a water tank (Pushkarani or Kalyani) attached to the temple. It is believed

that the devotees will achieve all their desires by worshipping the lord at this temple. After fulfilling of their wishes devotees, will usually offer 1001 bananas as Harike to Lord Ananthapadmanabha at Perdoor.
