The early church fathers chose the symbol of the CROSS.

Believers Eastern Church, a Christian denomination is Biblical and evangelical in faith, apostolic in origin, universal in nature, ecumenical in outlook, and has a constitutional episcopacy for governance. Its two bars were already a cosmic symbol from remote antiquity representing the axis between heaven and earth. Their choice had a specific explanation. They wished to commemorate as central to

their understanding of Jesus, neither His birth nor His youth, neither His teaching nor His service, neither His resurrection nor His reign, nor the gift of the Spirit, but His death, His crucifixion. The Cross and the Circle

While the circle in the logo represents eternity, the cross is not enclosed or contained within the circle. It goes beyond the circle, implying that the cross is the centrality of our faith and its significance transcends eternity. It represents the Lord Jesus Christ and His redemptive work on the cross. So the supreme priority of our church is to enable God’s people to know Jesus more fully and intimately and hunger to become like Him. Thus they will manifest Christ’s life as they die to self through the cross and follow in His footsteps. The four emblems, within the circle stand for the emphasis we have in the Church. The book stands for the consistent teaching of the Word to equip the believers for service. The heart stands for agape love through which the members of the body grow into maturity. The dove speaks of a life of worship in spirit and truth. The fish represents the call of Christ on our lives to become fishers of men, being involved in world evangelism.

With hearts filled with gratitude to Almighty God, we offer our warmest birthday greetings to our beloved spiritual father, Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan.

On this blessed occasion, we give thanks to God for the gift of your life and for your faithful ministry in the Holy Church. Your fatherly care, spiritual wisdom, humble service, and steadfast commitment to the Church continue to inspire and strengthen clergy and faithful alike.

As you continue to shepherd the flock entrusted to your care, may our gracious Lord grant you good health, divine strength, wisdom from above, abundant grace, and many blessed years in His service.

May the Lord preserve you in His peace, strengthen you by His grace, and guide you continually in the path of righteousness. May your life and ministry continue to be a blessing to the Holy Church and to all those entrusted to your pastoral care.

On World Mosquito Day, Believers Eastern Church reached out to vulnerable communities through meaningful initiatives focused on awareness, prevention, and care.

Through community outreach, awareness rallies, and interactive sessions, our teams raised awareness among slum communities, leprosy patients, widows and widowers, daily-wage laborers working in brick kilns, and school children.

Along with sharing practical guidance on personal hygiene, preventive measures, and maintaining clean surroundings, the teams distributed mosquito nets and mosquito coils to those in need. These simple acts of service reflect the Church’s commitment to standing alongside communities, promoting healthier lives, and sharing Christ’s love through compassionate action.

Are we more focused on correcting others than allowing God to correct us?

The Diocese of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, recently hosted a blessed two-day Clergy Family Conference, bringing together around 1,500 clergy members and their families for a meaningful time of fellowship, learning, encouragement, and spiritual renewal.

The conference was graced by the presence of His Holiness Moran Mor Dr. Samuel Theophilus Metropolitan, who shared words of wisdom and spiritual guidance, encouraging the clergy and their families in their journey of faith and service.

Enriching sessions were also led by His Eminence John Mor Irenaeus Episcopa, Archbishop of Delhi and Chennai; H.G. Joseph Mor Demetrius Episcopa, Diocesan Bishop of Vizag Diocese; and Rev. Fr. Dr. Daniel Johnson, Executive Secretary of the Departments of Priestly Care & Formation and Media & Communication.

Beyond the sessions and gatherings, the conference provided a special opportunity for clergy families to come together, strengthen bonds, share experiences, and be renewed in their calling to serve God and His Church.

Let us keep the clergy, their families, and the Diocese of Rajahmundry in our prayers, asking God to strengthen them, guide them, and bless their continued ministry and service to His Church.

For families in Kotagala, Sri Lanka, the floods brought sudden loss and heartbreak. Homes were damaged, belongings washed away, and lives were disrupted overnight.

In the midst of this hardship, the local parish reached out to 40 families, providing essential items and, more importantly, a reminder that they are not facing this difficult journey alone.

Please keep these families in your prayers as they begin to rebuild their lives with courage and hope.
