The Vinayagar idol has the special history of being worshipped by the children of our Home for the last several years. The Idol was first bought by the Secretary of Amar Seva Sangam and was in the Pooja for few years in the Secretary’s Pooja Room. The Idol was then taken to the twin trees of Vembu and Arasu (Neem Tree and Peepal Tree) by the Jothisha Sigamani Thula Subramanian of Hyderabad in 2005
. One of the differently abed boy Mr. Murali has been devotedly doing pooja since then. When Sringeri Acharya visited Amar Seva Sangam in May 2012, he was taken to this Vinayagar Temple and he instructed that a small temple be constructed with Sidha Pratishta whereby the children can continue to go near the deity and worship. Developing the differently abled promotes spiritual participation which gives them a sense of involvement and inclusive environment. Spiritual rehabilitation is an important component bringing equality among all irrespective of the physical conditions. Bearing this in mind, under the guidance of His Holiness Sringeri Acharya and with the blessings of His Holiness Kanchi Peryiyava Amar Vinayagar Temple Kumbabhishegam is being carried out
