Beyond the resemblance lies the story of Anjanadri Hill near Anegundi, Karnataka traditionally revered as Lord Hanuman’s birthplace. The hill takes its name from Anjana Devi, his mother.

Across the Tungabhadra River from Hampi, this region is associated in local tradition with Kishkindha, the kingdom of Sugriva described in the Ramayana. That connection gives the surrounding hills and river landscape a significance beyond their striking appearance.

At the summit stands a Hanuman temple described by the Koppal district administration as belonging to the Vijayanagara era. A winding stairway leads upward through the boulders, opening onto panoramic views of the Tungabhadra River, green fields and the landscape around Hampi.

दिवाली 2025 की तिथि, मुहूर्त और शुभकामनाएँ
साल **2025 में दिवाली का पर्व सोमवार, 20 अक्टूबर** को मनाया जाएगा। इस दिन **अमावस्या तिथि** शाम **3:44 बजे** से शुरू होकर अगले दिन **5:54 बजे** तक रहेगी। **लक्ष्मी पूजा का शुभ मुहूर्त** शाम **7:08 बजे से 8:18 बजे** तक का रहेगा। इस समय मां लक्ष्मी और भगवान गणेश की पूजा करने से घर में सुख, शांति और समृद्धि आती है।

दिवाली के दिन घरों की सफाई, सजावट, दीप जलाना और मिठाइयाँ बांटना शुभ माना जाता है। माना जाता है कि इस दिन भगवान श्रीराम 14 वर्ष के वनवास के बाद अयोध्या लौटे थे, इसलिए पूरी अयोध्या दीपों से जगमगा उठी थी। तभी से यह त्योहार “दीपों का पर्व” कहलाया।
