The Sivasagar Central Baptist Church will observe a Silent Christmas this year as a tribute to the late music legend Zubeen Garg.
All festive events, including lighting, feasting, and cultural programmes, have been cancelled as a mark of mourning.
Only prayer services will be held to honour Zubeen Garg’s memory and his contribution to Assamese music and culture.
