THE GOD WHO SPEAKS TO YOU!!Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
“The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” (Exodus 33:11 )
Dearly beloved,
The Lord is eagerly waiting to speak face to face with you as He spoke with Moses. Do you want to hear the Lord? Do you want to communicate with Him? He will speak to you through the dreams. You will hear His voice through the Word of God. The psalmist says, “I open my mouth and pant, longing for your commands”(Psalm 119:131). David had his delight in the word of God. Yes, the Bible says, “But whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night”(Psalm 1:2). Every day, When you meditate on the Word of God the Lord will speak to you through His words. You will be blessed.
The Bible says, “Very well then, with foreign lips and strange tongues God will speak to this people”(Isaiah 28:11). The Bible says, "The Lord is the Spirit." When we receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit in our lives, our human tongue also speaks the word of God. The Bible says, “ For it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”(Matthew 10:20). The Holy Spirit himself speaks to us. The scripture says, “ To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory”(Colossians 1:27).
To fulfill the vow Hannah promised to the Lord, Her son Samuel ministered before the LORD under Eli. One day, Eli was sleeping in his place. His eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see. Samuel was lying down in the house of the LORD, where the ark of God was. Then the LORD called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.” And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down. Samuel did not yet know the LORD: The word of the LORD had not yet been revealed to him.
A third time the LORD called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.”Then Eli realized that the LORD was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, LORD, for your servant is listening.” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The LORD came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.” The Lord spoke the prophetical word to Samuel. The LORD was with Samuel as he grew up, and he let none of Samuel’s words fall to the ground. The Lord was with him (1 Samuel 3: 1-21).
Beloved, today ask God to come into your heart. Let us ask God to speak to us through visions. The Bible says, “The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend.”(Exodus 33:11). As the Lord spoke with Prophet Samuel the Lord will speak to you. Every day, the Lord will guide you and counsel you through His word. The Lord not only speaks to us, but also He listens to us. So meditate on the Word of God and wait upon the Lord; He will speak with you face to face.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
I ask You to fill me with the Holy Spirit and help me mediate on Your word. Let Your word be the light of my path. Father, speak to me face to face as You spoke with Moses. Reveal the plan You have for me and help me to fulfill it. Teach me Your Word and help me to live accordingly and let me taste Your love and goodness. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
