I, Mocherla Gyan Shamanth, aged 14 from Vijayawada Branch, had the privilege of participating in the Multi Stake & District Youth Musical Concert held on April 10th at Annavaram. The concert was conducted by Rajahmundry India Stake and Visakhapatnam District.
As I played the piano for the song “A Great Work,” I felt a deep connection to the Lord, just like David playing before the Lord (2 Samuel 6:5). It was a truly uplifting experience, and I felt grateful for the opportunity to use my musical talents to praise and serve God.
I appreciate the Church’s resources and support in helping me develop my musical skills. The hymns, music, and the Gospel Library provided by the Church have been invaluable in my musical journey.
The concert was a thrilling experience from start to finish. We began our journey from Vijayawada to Annavaram early in the morning, and the excitement was palpable. Meeting new friends and learning from their experiences added to the joy of the occasion. The atmosphere and climate were perfect, and every moment was filled with spiritual, mental, and social enrichment.
Witnessing the performances of other youth from various places was inspiring, and I felt grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this united effort. I extend my gratitude to Rajahmundry Stake and Visakhapatnam District for organizing the concert.
I pray that I will be given another opportunity to perform in the musical concert in 2025. I share this experience in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
