Top 10 Maths Shortcut Tricks:-
1. Multiply by 9: When multiplying a number by 9, multiply by 10 and subtract the original number.
2. Fast addition: When adding numbers, round them up or down to the nearest 10 or 100 to make the addition easier then add or subtract the difference.
3. Multiply by 11: For a two-digit number, add the two digits together and place the sum between the two digits.
4. Squaring numbers ending in 5: Multiply the first digit by itself plus one, then append 25 to the end.
5. Multiplication by 4: Double the number twice.
6. Multiply by 5: Multiply by 10 and divide by 2.
7. Divide by 5: Multiply by 2 and move the decimal point.
8. Subtracting from 1,000: Subtract all but the last number from 9, then subtract the last number from 10.
9. Multiply by 25: Multiply by 100 (just add two zeros to the end of the number) then divide by 4.
10. Finding percentages: To find 20% of a number, find 10% of it, and then double that. To find 5%, find 10% and halve it.
