Jesus Youth Kothamangalam Zone Its a community for Kothamangalam Jesus Youth Zone. The spirituality, approach and creativity of the young people began to spread as a lifestyle.

In the mid 1970s the flame of the Charismatic Renewal spread to India and to Kerala, the southernmost tip of the Indian subcontinent. The wave of the Holy Spirit gave rise to several youth groups where catholic youth encountered Jesus and the Gospel in a renewed and refreshing way. Gradually these groups began to connect to each other and in 1985, these youth groups came together for a large confe

rence. The conference was called ‘Jesus Youth 85’ and the young people who attended the conference began to call themselves ‘Jesus Youth’. These young people shared their experiences to those around, and as they moved into universities, schools, workplaces and cities, they continued to spread the exciting news of Jesus - forming prayer groups and cell groups. As many among them travelled to different countries, they carried their Jesus Youth lifestyle along with them, leading to the formation of Jesus Youth groups around the world. Today Jesus Youth is present in over 33 countries around the world.

ഈശോയിൽ പ്രിയമുള്ളവരേ,

നമ്മൾ പ്രാർത്ഥനകളോടെ കാത്തിരിക്കുന്ന പെന്തക്കോസ്താ ദിനം ആഗതമാകുകയാണ് 😇

തിരുസഭയെ നവീകരിക്കുകയും നയിക്കുകയും, വിശുദ്ധർക്ക് ധീരത പകർന്ന, നമ്മുടെ നിത്യസഹായമായ പരിശുദ്ധ റൂഹായുടെ നവ ചൈതന്യത്താൽ നിറയാൻ നമുക്ക് ആഗ്രഹിക്കാം.

നമ്മൾ ജീസസ് യൂത്തിനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഏറെ പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള ദിവസമാണല്ലോ പെന്തക്കോസ്ത ദിനം. നമ്മുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠാദിനംകൂടിയായ മെയ്‌ 24 ഞായർ ഉച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞ് 2 മണി മുതൽ വൈകിട്ട് 7.30 വരെ ആനിക്കാട് വിശുദ്ധ സെബാസ്റ്റ്യനോസിന്റെ ദൈവാലയത്തിൽ വച്ച് നമ്മൾ ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടുന്നു. പുതിയ പെന്തക്കോസ്തയ്ക്കായി
പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കാനും, ചിന്തിക്കാനും, വിശേഷങ്ങൾ പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കാനും, മൂവിമെന്റിനോടുള്ള നമ്മുടെ പ്രതിബദ്ധത ഏറ്റുപറയാനുമുള്ള ഈ ദിവസത്തിലേക്ക് ഓരോ ജീസസ് യൂത്തിനെയും സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു.

കഴിഞ്ഞ 40 വർഷമായി ആഗോള കാത്തോലിക്കാ സഭയിൽ അനിതര സാധാരണമായ രീതിയിൽ സുവിശേഷപ്രഘോഷണം നടത്തുകയും അനേക ലക്ഷം ജനങ്ങളെ ക്രിസ്തുവിലേക്ക് നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന മുന്നേറ്റമാണല്ലോ ജീസസ് യൂത്ത്.

2023 ഡിസംബറിൽ ജീസസ് യൂത്തിന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ക്രൈസ്റ്റ് കോളേജിൽ നടന്ന ജാഗോ കോൺഫറൻസ് സമീപകാലത്തു ഇന്ത്യ കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കത്തോലിക്കാ യുവജന സംഗമമായിരുന്നു. പതിനേഴായിരത്തോളം യുവജനങ്ങൾ പങ്കെടുത്ത ജാഗോയിൽ കോതമംഗലം രൂപതയുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായിരുന്നു.
ഈ വർഷം ഡിസംബർ 28 മുതൽ 31 വരെ JAAGO യുടെ രണ്ടാം version ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ക്രൈസ്റ്റ് അക്കാദമിയിൽ വെച്ച് നടക്കുന്നു.

പ്രത്യാശയുടെ ജൂബിലി വർഷത്തിന്റെ സമാപനത്തോട് നാം അടുക്കുമ്പോൾ എല്ലാ കത്തോലിക്ക യുവജന സംഘടനകളുടെയും മഹാസംഗമം കൂടിയാണ് JAAGO. വിശ്വാസത്തിന്റെയും കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെയും ക്രിസ്താനുഭവം ആകുന്ന ജാഗോയിൽ ഇന്ത്യ ഒട്ടാകെയുള്ള അഭിവന്ദ്യ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവും, ക്രിസ്തുസ്നേഹം നിറഞ്ഞുനിൽക്കുന്ന പങ്കുവെയ്ക്കലുകളും, വി. കുർബാനയും, ദിവ്യകാരുണ്യആരാധനയും, മറ്റ് ആഘോഷങ്ങളുംകൂടെ ഈ ദിനങ്ങളെ സമ്പന്നമാക്കുന്നു.

ഈ ദൈവപരിപാലനയുടെ ആഘോഷത്തിലേക്ക് നമ്മുടെ രൂപതയിലെ വൈദികരെയും, സന്യസ്ഥരെയും, രൂപത, ഫൊറോന, ഇടവകതലത്തിലെ 16-35 വയസ് പ്രായമുള്ള എല്ലാ യുവജനങ്ങളെയും സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം സ്വാഗതം ചെയ്യുന്നു..

നമ്മുടെ രൂപതയിൽനിന്നും യാത്ര സൗകര്യം ഒരുക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.

A meaningful cultural exchange with 12 Catholic participants from Jesus Youth Jharkhand

Through homes that opened their doors, tables that shared food, and lives that shared faith, cultures met, not as strangers, but as brothers and sisters in Christ.

From night vigils to pilgrimages, from common travels to Christmas celebrations, from music and laughter to silent moments of prayer, everything became a language of love. Faith was shared, traditions were understood, and hearts were transformed.

We thank His Excellency Mar George Madathikandathil, Bishop of Kothamangalam for blessing both the families and participants of Cultural Exchange 2025.

Some of our ministry leaders gathered at Santhome Snehalayam Old-Age Home, Kothamangalam.

We celebrated Holy Mass, spent time supporting the residents in their daily routines, and shared lunch together.

Through small acts of service and joyful moments of group songs and activities, we brought smiles to many faces.

It was more than just a gathering; it was a reminder that leadership begins with service and presence.
