St. Jerome Community, Mira Road (E) A flourishing community under the leadership of St.Joseph Church , Mira Road (E). St Jerome was a Catholic priest born in Stridon circa 347.

Comprising of Shanti Niketan, Latiff Park, Unique Heights ,Solitaire III , Vinay Hermitage, Poonam Square, Raj Antila and Banegar Society. As a man, he traveled to Rome to study philosophy and Latin. Seeking an ascetic life, he became ordained and in 382, began his duties, and what was to become his most important life work, producing a translation of the Bible from Hebrew into Latin (the Vulgate). For some 15 years, he wrote commentaries explaining his translation choices.
