🏡Formal COMPILATION of Qur'an
Uthman assigned a delegation for that
👉Under the leadership of Zaid ibn Thabit.
They are:
1) Ubayy ibn Ka’b,
2) Ibn Mas’ud,
3) Mu’awiyah ibn Abi-Sufyan,
4) Khalid ibn Al-Waleed and
5) Az-Zubayr ibn Al-Awwam.
6) Abdullah ibn al-Zubair,
7) Saeed ibn al-Aas and
8) Abd al-Rahman ibn Harith
All of them, except for Zaid, (the most prominent) were from Quraysh.
Uthman said that the dialect of Quraysh should be preferred if they were to fall into conflict with Zaid regarding the dialect, since Muhammad was from the Quraysh tribe.

The 7 Ahrufs are the frequency of the descendence of Quran for 7 times with difference in some words via whichAllah simplified the understanding of Quran for this Ummah
🥱👉Yasir Qadhi did not study the 7 modes of Quran (ahruf) that are different variations of different dialects of the Arabs.
They are not only 7 dialects but 40 other dialects are embedded in the 7 modes.

Then Zayd who attended the last reviewing of Quran by prophet Muhammad
Took Quran from Sahaba with two witnesses
The original text of Quran is still the same
Whenever the Prophet received a revelation, he would first memorize it himself then
Dictate it to Sahaba and check and recheck by asking them to read what they had written.
Prophet would immediately correct any written mistakes..so as such was Qur’an all written down

👉After the demise of the prophet, Abu Bakr (r.a.), the first caliph of Islam ordered that the Qur’an be copied from the various different materials on to a common material and place, which was in the shape of sheets.

This last sentence clearly entails that there are 7 authentic recitations. They are all sent from Allah Subhanahu wa taala according to people's dialects and accents

Why did Uthman ra burn 🔥 all other Qur’anic copies??
Uthman recommended that to burn other wrongly written 👉side notes with Quran and 👉manuscripts of Qur’an because they were not taken directly from prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
👉🏼Many had 👉marginal notes inserted by the owners. Like tafseer of Qur’an or other vocabularies
🌴🌱🌼👉🏼So all such copies that resemble mere manuscripts must be destroyed.

So these vowels were inserted 60 years later under instructions of the governor of Kufa, named Hajjaj Ibn Yusuf
Yet, the codification of Quran had been done in 632 A.D (11 A.H) after the battle of Yamama in which many hafids died in Abu Bakr era

Omar Ibn Al Khattab heard Hisham Ibn Hakeem reciting Quran in a different Arabic dialect style

Ibn Masoud says the 7 styles are never a matter of contradiction
Ibn Mas’ood said: “It is like one of you saying halumma, aqbil or ta’aal (all different ways of saying ‘Come here’).”
So even there are hundreds of words different in all the 7 styles the initial Quranic drawing is still the same al hamdulillah
