We started our journey from Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station.

Buy a ticket for Anand Vihar RRTS Station which costs ₹140 per person.

🚄 Step 3:
Board the Namo Bharat RRTS train.
It takes around 40 minutes to reach Anand Vihar RRTS Station.

🦁 Meerut To Delhi Zoo via Namo Bharat & Metro 🚆

Delhi weekend trip under budget? Yes, it’s possible 😍

We started our journey from Shatabdi Nagar RRTS Station, Meerut and boarded the Namo Bharat train towards Delhi. In around 40 minutes, we reached Anand Vihar RRTS Station 🚄

🎟️ Namo Bharat Fare: ₹140 per person

From Anand Vihar, we used the direct interchange for Delhi Metro and boarded the Blue Line metro from Platform No. 2 towards Supreme Court Metro Station 🚇

🎟️ Metro Fare: Only ₹21 per person

After taking Exit Gate No. 4, we boarded a DTC bus which directly dropped us at the National Zoological Park, Delhi 🚌🦁

दिल्ली-मेरठ नमो भारत कॉरिडोर पर बढ़ती यात्रियों की संख्या को देखते हुए NCRTC ने 22 मई 2026 से पीक आवर्स में 8 अतिरिक्त नमो भारत ट्रेन ट्रिप्स शुरू करने का फैसला लिया है।

अब सुबह 8 से 11 बजे और शाम 5 से 7 बजे के बीच सराय काले खाँ से मेरठ साउथ तक यात्रियों को और बेहतर व ज्यादा फ्रीक्वेंट सेवा मिलेगी। 🚆⚡

मई में रैपिड रेल से सफर करने वाले दैनिक यात्रियों की औसत संख्या करीब एक लाख पार तक पहुंच गई है। इससे पहले तक यह आंकड़ा औसतन 90,000 से 92,364 यात्रियों के बीच बना हुआ था। इस जबरदस्त उछाल से साफ है कि लोग अब ट्रैफिक जाम और भीषण गर्मी से बचने के लिए रैपिड रेल को सबसे भरोसेमंद विकल्प मान रहे हैं। इसी तरह पहले एक दिन में अधिकतम यात्रियों के सफर का रिकार्ड एक लाख से कुछ अधिक का था, जो अब 1,14,599 तक पहुंच गया है। उम्मीद है कि यह रिकार्ड सवा लाख तक पहुंच सकता है। साफ है कि अब मेरठ के लोगों के लिए रैपिड और मेट्रो वरदान साबित होने लगी है।
