The God in the Bible is called as the heavenly Father. He watches and cares for the whole world. Everything belongs to Him. He distributes justice and rewards as He sees fit. He looks after His own creation. No one is abandoned because no one escapes the compassionate eye of the Father.

The difference between fate and Christian predestination is this: Fate, in common usage, means that there is no possibility to change any given situation. Hence it is the irreversible cause of events and outcomes produced by those events unique to each individual. Christian predestination, on the other hand, means that there is a possibility to change, under the purview of what God has decreed. However, it is impossible to show how these two parts work together because the nature of a divine decree is such that it does not violate a person's willful decision that leads to a particular situation.

The Bible calls itself a mirror that one can use to observe himself (For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks intently at his natural face in a mirror; James 1:23). But it is a mirror like no other. It teaches you right from wrong, good from evil and shows you the pathway to God. A mirror's purpose is to reflect your image so that you can change the way you look to be more appealing. As you read the Bible, you see yourself in it, just the way you are. So you look, and let the mirror speak to you. But remember that the mirror will not do the work of changing who you are for you. For that, you have to set aside time, intently scan your reflection and go back to remove the errors. It's to say that you have been given the tool, making you responsible. Now you have the choice to decide how to use it.

I have often heard it said that when surrounded by suffering, it is impossible to believe in God. Although there is an existing contradiction that God couldn't exist in a world that He made to suffer, it is far more personal than that. It is personal in that God has no right to ask for commitment when He wants to do nothing about the miseries in this world.

In the Christian worldview, the response would be that God sent His only Son to die for the world. What more shall be done? However, this answer does not satisfy because suffering still exists. The personal nature of the attack directed to God will only go away if the death of His Son can effectively relieve the suffering present today.

A direct answer has to do with the church of Jesus Christ. The Christian has the ability to remove this objection on the part of the unbeliever by showing them the sacrificial love that sent Christ the Son of God to the cross. That reality will alter the unbeliever's perspective, now that he sees a God-given hope in a broken world.

Believing in God is made easy because the church has shown that suffering is not the end of God's story. The personal attack against God is met with the personal response of love from His people. If the unbeliever chooses to commit to those people instead of God, then a Christian would respond by saying that if God's Spirit did not dwell in them, they should have no reason to love at a cost of their own.

What peace and love God has given you; share with others. What food and clothes you have to spare; give to others. What pleasures and freedoms you daily enjoy; build for others. Not all are blessed like you are. But if you choose to neglect those who are in need, God will choose to neglect you. You are here because of Him.

Meeting with God is necessary. The evil that’s in you wouldn’t want that. In prayer, your evil self must be confronted with the highest holiness, the ultimate good, in the being of God. It is wrestling with God. That approach with the Almighty is necessary. The good that prayer must bring is to evoke more of it. Nearer to God a person must be, nearer to the light he will see.

In my pursuit of knowing the truth, I have understood that the nature of truth is redemptive. You cannot base your goals and purposes on a cold set of facts. What you know has to affect you, in a redemptive progressive manner. It resembles what Jesus Christ said, that the truth will set you free, that in following the light of truth, you are on a pathway to freedom, freedom from what keeps you in chains.

It is important to examine your life. Careless living is the voice of the Devil. Make sure your life is worth it. Once you spiral down the tunnels of "no one cares," the Devil has got you in his grips. What follows is not uncommon: despair, depression, hopelessness, su***de. Take action and straighten your life to be in its rightful place. It is the calling of God for you, a calling to happiness and meaning.

Grumbling is not the answer. Nobody likes it, even God. If you want to have a better life, stop grumbling and be grateful that you can enjoy the present. You will find yourself in a better place. We will never be happy till we stop our grumbles and start our days with a heart of receiving what God has kept for us. The one life that He has set before you, He will be pleased when He finds out that you do not grumble in the hardest of circumstances but that you will show that your disposition is one of faith and love.
