Shariat e Halal Accreditation Trust

In compliance with Board Resolution dated 11.04.2024, the "Bi-NGO Merger" has been executed on 18.04.2024, with immediate effect. From this day on, Halal Shariat Islamic Law Trust will not longer be a seperate legal entity but a division of Shariat-e-Halal Accreditation Trust for Social Welfare Activities.

This "Bi-NGO Merger" is the "Blue Ocean Strategy Initiative" of both NGOs together to achieve the common mandate.

NABCB became the Founding Member of "International Halal Accreditation Forum" (IHAF) on 6th November 2016 in Dubai with 15 Other Accreditation Boards of Islamic Countries.. An Initiative of UAE Government.. The primary objective of establishing the IHAF is to harmonise conformity assessment practices in the Halal field, and establish Multilateral Recognition Agreements between member bodies that will facilitate Halal trade globally.

"In order to bring about uniformity in Halal certification standards and processes as well as to create a system of oversight over Halal certification bodies, at the initiative of the Government of the United Arab Emirates, an International Halal Accreditation Forum (IHAF) has been set up with its headquarters in Dubai.
Considering that India is leading exporter of meat and other products to Islamic countries which require or may require in future Halal certification, NABCB has signed up as one of the 16 accreditation bodies around the world to be a founder member of IHAF in its first General Assembly in Dubai on 6 November 2016."
