👉"മാണികത്തനാരെ നക്കാപ്പിച്ചകൊടുത്ത് ഒതുക്കാം " എന്ന് കണക്കുകൂട്ടിയ പലരും അദ്ദേഹത്തെ യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ മനസിലാക്കിയില്ല.പലരുടെയും പോരാട്ട വീര്യം സ്ഥാനമാനങ്ങൾ കാണുമ്പോൾ ചോർന്നുപോകാറുണ്ട്.വല്ലതും കിട്ടുമെങ്കിൽ മിണ്ടാതെ മൂലേക്ക്കിടന്നു വാലാട്ടുന്ന ചലരും ഉണ്ടാകും.മാണികത്തനാരുടെ സഭാസ്നേഹവും സഭ ഐക്കധാരണയും സാംസ്കാരികബോധവും തന് കാര്യനേട്ടങ്ങൾക്കുള്ള അഭിനയമായിരുന്നില്ല.

👉വല്ല വിട്ടുവീഴ്ചയും ചെയ്തു മാർത്തോമാ നസ്രാണികളുടെ സഭയെ ചവിട്ടികൂട്ടി ഒതുക്കി കാര്യമവസാനിപ്പിക്കുവാൻ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് ആവുമായിരുന്നില്ല.വികാരിജനറൽ സ്ഥാനം കൊണ്ട് അദ്ദേഹതെ കിട്ടിയില്ല. തെറ്റ്ചെയ്യാത്ത സഹോദരനെ സഭാഭ്രഷ്ടനക്കാൻ കല്പനായിട്ട് മേലധികാരിയെ അനുസരിച്ച ആകല്പന നടപ്പിലാക്കിയ മാണികത്തനാർ ധിക്കാരമോ അനുസരണക്കേടോ അദ്ദേഹത്തെ തൊട്ടുതീണ്ടിയിട്ടില്ല.

Happy Feast of the Miraculous Cross of Mylapore. The miraculous cross was found in 1547 in Mylapore during Portughese excavations at the site of the Martyrdom of St Thomas. An ancient local tradition claims that Mar Thoma Sleeha fell dead a martyr on this particular granite stone which the faithful kept and at a later stage the Sliba, the symbol of their faith, was engraved onto it. Modern scholars fix the date of engraving somewhere around 650 AD.✝️

Soon after the discovery of the cross, miracles began to happen. During a Qurbana held in 1557 on the 18th of December, it is reported to have sweat blood and it continued to show up every year until 1566. The Synod of Udayamperoor gave so much credit to this and it dedicated 18th of December to this memory. ✝️

The Suriyani Malabar Church in Kerala used to venerate Mar Sleeva since 1st century AD.

Sleeva represents our Resurrected ISHO MESSIAH. ❤
