Pastor Rev. J Harrison started the gospel in Bollapadu in 1874 while Karra Naganna was the first ever Pastor in the same year.

On 24-02-1930 Rt. Rev Bishop Vedanayagam Samuel Azariah had laid foundation to the church.

This is one of the oldest church in India which is 150+ years.
