The Diocese is further divided into 12 District Councils, led by a presbyter as distric chairman. Ettumannoor District Council: Ettumanoor Dist. Council is one of the 12 district councils of Madhya Kerala Diocese with 9 pastorates. Mathew's CSI Church Kattampackal (Vakkadu, 686636): This church is one of the 9 pastorates of Ettumannoor District Council. The church was established in the year of 1886. It played the most prominent role in the history of Vakkad and its development with its divine presence over the years. The Church is very well known for its choir, youth movement, sunday school, etc. The Church runs a school and a nursery school successfully.
