TBCA Hosts First-Ever Gaon Bura’s Fellowship

Nongtham, 12 September 2025:
In a historic move to strengthen grassroots leadership, the Tangsa Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) successfully organized its first-ever Gaon Bura’s Fellowship at the TBCA Mission Centre, Nongtham, on Friday.

The landmark event drew an enthusiastic participation of over 46 Gaon Buras (GBs) from various villages under TBCA. The fellowship was marked by meaningful discussions, biblical exhortations, and a renewed sense of purpose among the participants.

Serving as the resource person, Mr. Kamman Thungwa, CO Pangchao, underscored the importance of thoroughly understanding the GB’s Manual for self-awareness and for the overall benefit of society. He encouraged the GBs to carry out their responsibilities with integrity and a clear vision for their communities.

TBCA Executive Secretary Rev. SS Jugli shared powerful biblical insights, exhorting the participants to see their roles as a calling from God to serve their people faithfully. The fellowship concluded with a blessing prayer led by Rev. L. Mosang, Pastor of TBC Neirong, leaving the participants inspired and motivated.

The event received highly positive feedback and is expected to become an annual platform for equipping and empowering GBs to better serve their villages, both socially and spiritually.
