Renowned saint mediator “St. George at Edappally” has been revered the world over for nearly 15 centuries. Millions of miraculous happenings have been reported by the faithful the world over, belonging to different communities. Here is a great opportun

ity to receive showers of blessings from the Lord through the patron saint at St. George Forane church, Edappally, Cochin-682024, Kerala, India, by witnessing and supporting live the auspicious blessing function of the new Edappally church, constructed through an effort of over 15 years of 1000’s of artisans, craftsmen and workers. The new church building is a blend of Western and Eastern architecture, artisanship and artistry. The new structure shall accommodate 8000 plus faithful at one time comfortably during the holy mass. This could be a record in Syro-Malabar church history and, perhaps, even in the history of the World Catholic Church. The opening and blessing function of the new Edappally church is scheduled on April 19, 2015, Sunday and the chief celebrant and guest of the day is Cardinal Mar George Alencherry, Major Archbishop of the Syro-Malabar church. Several other prominent guests and celebrities are expected to grace the function with their kind presence. A crowd of around half a lakh devotees and faithful of St. George shall constitute the day’s august audience.
