Imam Zaman Educational Centre Lankerchey in collaboration with Anjuman ê Inquilab ê Mehdi - AIM- Kargil Observes 40th Day Mourning (Chehlum) of Martyr Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei
KARGIL, 12 APRIL:-A commemorative gathering was held at the Imam Zaman Educational Centre (IZEC), Lankerchey in collaboration with Anjuman ê Inquilab ê Mehdi - AIM- Kargil Ladakh on the occasion of the 40th day (Chehlum) of Martyr Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei.
Thousands of people from various villages of Sankoo and Suru, including Ulamas and religious scholars, participated in the event.
An impressive Fateha Khawani was conducted, along with the recitation of the Holy Quran and a congregational prayer for the martyr Iranian Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei (R.A.)who was reportedly assassinated in a United States–Israel airstrike.
On this occasion, religious scholars paid rich tribute to the sacrifice of the martyr.
The event also included special prayers for his soul, along with expressions of protest against the United States and Israel, whom participants held responsible for the strike.
It is worth noting that Ayatollah Syed Ali Khamenei was reported to have been martyred on February 28, on the first day of attacks on Iran allegedly carried out by the United States and Israel.
