Lords Chakkara Vinayaka, Thondhi Vinayaka, Alageswarar tank, sacred tree Vanni, Balipeeta, flag post-Kodimaram, Nandhi Mandap, Alankara Mandap are in the first round of the prakara – lion pillar mandap. Temple is facing east. The next round of the prakara and the presiding deity can be reached through the six steps of Rishi Gopura entrance. Mother Pattuvadhana Ambikai graces from a separate shrine

. 12 Vinayakas adore the pillars of the mandap. Besides the 8 serpents-Ashta Nagas-there are shrines in the third prakara for Lord Brahmma, Nandhideva, Kottravai (Kali), Lord Vallabha Vinayaka, Saptha Kannikas (seven virgins), 63 Nayanmars-celebrated Shiva devotees- Lord Maha Ganapathi, Lord Muruga with six faces, Lord Vishnu and Lord Dakshinamurthi. There is also a shrine for Mother Jeshta Devi. The Vimana has three beautiful Kalasas.
