Another prestigious institution of Jayant is the Jyoti English Medium School. The School was blessed and inaugurated by Mar Abraham Mattam on 7 July, 1976. Fr. Varghese Chakumkkuzhy was the first School manager. Other managers were Fr. Joseph Keezhedam, Fr. Jose Parayaruthottam, Fr. Kuriakose Kodakallil, Fr. John Nayathuprampil. The present Manager is Fr. Augustine Pullolickal and the Principal is

Fr. Varghese Chakkumkuzhy. The pioneers of the School were Srs. Emilda SH, Prasantha SH, and Beena FCC. The Holy Family sisters teach in the School. At present, the School has a total number of 1050 students. The school was affiliated to C.B.S.E. It has two sections: L.K.G. and the formal School from class one to ten. In order to realise the desire and dream of our students, the school has started computer education in 1992.
