TODAY (14 February 2022) corresponding to Magh Sudi 14, 1687 Bk. (1630 CE) is the *Perkash Diharra of Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji*. Guru Ji took his manifestation in the house of Baba Gurditta Ji and Mata Nihal Kaur Ji at Kiratpur Sahib where Gurdwara Sheesh Mahal Sahib stand to commemorate this day. There is no end to the humility of Guru Ji and the emphasis they have placed on the respect of Gurbani. Bhai Jiwan Singh Ji (Bhai Jaita Ji Rangretta) writes:
*ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਜੋਰ ਬੰਦੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਰਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਜਿਹ ਦੀਓ ਬਤਾਈ* ॥
I fold my hands and bow to Sri Guru Har Rai Sahib Ji who is Almighty Himself, and is capable of doing anything (is the cause and effect of everything).
