The Day of Arafah is not just a date, it is a moment when mercy descends, sins are erased, and sincere hearts are elevated.
On this sacred day, millions gather in humility, dressed alike, reminding us that status, wealth, and pride hold no value before Allah. What remains is sincerity, repentance, and the hope for His mercy.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah.”
Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1348
He ﷺ also said about fasting on this day:
“It expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
Sahih Muslim, Hadith 1162
And Allah says in the Quran:
“Today I have perfected for you your religion, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.”
(Al-Quran 5:3)
So fast if you can. Repent sincerely. Make dua without holding back. This is a day when hearts are transformed.
May Allah accept our fasting, forgive our sins, and grant us the honor of standing in Arafah in the years to come.
