Dharma Unplugged—an initiative by Vidyaranyam, envisioned by Guruji Shashi Bhushan Somayaji Madugula ji — was held yesterday at CHAITANYA BHARATHI INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (CBIT), bringing the timeless values of Sanatana Dharma closer to today’s youth.

The session with Civil and Mechanical Engineering students was deeply enriching. As “Dharmo Rakshati Raksh*tah” reminds us, dharma protects those who uphold it—and this message resonated strongly with the students.

Guruji spoke on the true meaning of “Bharatha”—a land guided by the light of jnana—and encouraged students to become Dharma Veers who live with clarity and purpose.

Smt. Sirisha Pingali (CEO, Vidyaranyam) shared her journey, reflecting on how success without cultural grounding can feel empty. She urged students to stay rooted in their values and not be swayed by peer pressure.

Sri Raja Sekhar Devarakonda reminded students to remain mindful and not drift away from their origins due to external influences.

We concluded the session inviting students and faculty to visit Vidyaranyam and experience the serene Gurukul environment.

Our deepest gratitude to Professor Sri P. Sreenivas Sarma garu, Principal Sri C. V. Narsimlu garu, HOD Dr. Sri K. Jagannatha Rao garu for hosting us at short notice and supporting this meaningful initiative. Last not but not least, Madhavi Ayyalasomayajula garu, CBIT Alumnus and Vidyaranyam volunteer for making this event possible.

Ramayana series Teaser

Episode 1 will release soon

At Vidyaranyam, we began a Ramayanam narration series for our children today, to continue on every Anadhyayanam day.

Ramayanam is not to be seen merely as a story or an epic. It is a living reference for how life is to be lived. Rāmo vigrahavān dharmaḥ — Rama is dharma in form.

The opening session focused on why Ramayanam must be known and practiced, and on Śrī Rāma’s 16 qualities, which together offer a clear, actionable framework for character, conduct, and responsibility.

Through these sessions, we hope our children learn to see dharma not as an idea, but as a way of being.
