It means:
• Doing your work properly
• Using your abilities wisely

Shri Ram was capable in many ways.
He was skilled in archery, wise in decision-making, and responsible in protecting others.

Whenever there was a challenge, Ram did not panic.

He studied the Vedas, scriptures, warfare, and the duties of a king under His teachers.

During a recent temple program, I had the opportunity to offer My Little Book of Dharma to HG Chaitanya Charan prabhuji.

The title of this book was inspired by his book My Little Bhakti Companion, which has guided many on the path of bhakti.

Grateful for the inspiration that encouraged this small attempt to bring the wisdom of Sanatan Dharma closer to young hearts.

He kindly distributed the books among the young devotees present. Seeing children receive these small introductions to Dharma was truly heartwarming.

In the Valmiki Ramayana, Shri Ram is described as Dṛḍhavrata — one who is firm and determined in keeping His vows.

🌼 Being Dṛḍhavrata means staying committed to what you promise or decide to do.

It means:
• Not giving up halfway
• Staying determined even when things become difficult
• Completing what you started

Once Shri Ram made a vow, He followed it with full determination.

Whether it was protecting the sages, living in the forest for 14 years, or rescuing Mother Sita — Ram never gave up until His duty was fulfilled.
