નાલંદા વિશ્વવિદ્યાલય : વિશ્વભરને આપી જ્ઞાનની ભેટ બિહારમાં રાજગીર પાસે ઈ. સ. પૂર્વે ચોથી સદીમાં સ્થપાયેલી નાલંદા વિદ્યાપીઠ પ્રાચીન ભારતની શિક્ષણ ક્ષેત્રે મેળવેલી મહાન સિદ્ધિ છે. એ સમયે નાલંદા શિક્ષણ મેળવવા માટેનું અત્યંત પ્રસિદ્ધ સ્થળ હતું.
