The founding fathers of Tibetan Buddhism, known as the Khen Lop Chos Sum.

KHEN stands for Khenpo Shantaraksh*ta;
LOP stands Lopon Pema Jungney, also known as the Lotus-Born, Padmasambhava, and Guru Rinpoche); and
Cho stands for Chogyal/King Trisong Deutsan.

Shri Sushant Gurung, one of our youngest members explains the role of Khen Lop Chos Sum in the establishment and propagation of Buddha Dharma in Tibet. The above video was shot at Phuntsok Pema Chokorling Monastery also known as Tsechu Gonpa, Darjeeling.
Please note that the above video was a spontaneous one. It wasn't planned and Shri Sushant Gurung introduced the above figures without any prior preparation. We are thankful to Shri Sushant Gurung for his effort and dedication.

Old post but an informative one.
The First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma (in Tibet referred to as Chokhor Duchen) is an important occasion in which we honor the day that the Buddha Shakyamuni first taught the four noble truths in Sarnath, India, and first turned the wheel of the dharma after attaining enlightenment.
One of our members, Shri Siddharth Tamang in the video gives a clear description of Chokhor Duchen also known as The First Turning of the Wheel of Dharma.
Shri Siddharth Tamang is one of the active members of the Buddhist Study Circle. He recently completed his bachelor's degree in Political Science from St. Joseph's College, North Point, Darjeeling and is planning to pursue his post graduation degree from the University of North Bengal.

Hello everyone. Tashi Delek!
I hope this reaches you in good health.
It has been about a year since we started a small study group under the auspiciousness of the Dharma Chakra Committee, Darjeeling and we have been growing ever since. With the blessings of our Glorious Guru Buddha Sakyamuni and the Buddhas and Bodhisatvas of the past, present and future, this is a humble attempt on our part to study, discuss and disseminate the teachings of Buddhas and Gurus to everyone in general and the youths in particular.
We thought of coming up with a page so that we can connect with you on a wider range with a larger target audience. We are open to your feedback and suggestions in order to improve the page. Any suggestion from your end shall be appreciated.
With our humble prayers and regards. Thanking you 🌸
